At 5:30 PM on May 6, 2025, police from Nong Sahai Station received a report of a sedan that had veered off the Mitmraphap Bypass Road and crashed into a canal near Ban Bo Thong Bridge in Nong Sahai Subdistrict, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Officers and rescue teams, including a crane truck, rushed to the scene and discovered a gray Toyota Yaris (license plate ขร-4194 from Khon Kaen) submerged approximately 4 meters below the bridge. Inside the vehicle, they found the body of a deceased woman. After lifting the heavily damaged car from the water, the victim was identified as Ms. Sureewan Joynaok, 35, a resident of Khon Kaen Province.
Investigators determined the vehicle had been traveling from Nakhon Ratchasima toward Bangkok in the center lane when it suddenly veered to the right and plunged off the road into the deep canal. A nearby street vendor witnessed the accident and reported seeing the car lose control without any apparent cause. The body was transported to Pak Chong Nana Hospital for examination, and authorities are working to contact the victim's relatives.
