Tehy Chrinprom Invests Her Savings in Building a Home in Japan, Investing in What She Loves, Long-Distance Romance Isn't Easy
Actress Tehy Chrinprom invested her savings in a small cottage in Japan's snowboarding region, which she plans to rent out for returns, while maintaining a long-distance relationship she describes as challenging but worth it.
Actress Tehy Chrinprom Chunkiatikit has become a hot topic among fans not just for her booming career but also for her lifestyle choices. Recently, she opened up at the 17th Natharaj Awards ceremony about building a vacation home in Japan, admitting she pursued the project purely out of passion—particularly her love for snowboarding. She also revealed details about her long-distance relationship of over two years, saying that while it's challenging, she remains happy overall.
When asked if she secretly built a mansion, she laughed it off, describing it instead as a small, cute cottage. "I built it because I've always loved snowboarding and that lifestyle," she explained. "I've saved money from work, so I decided to invest it there. Honestly, I didn't overthink it—it came from pure passion. Eventually, I'll rent it out so the money can generate returns."
Addressing concerns about Japan's expensive property taxes and the complexities of foreign ownership, she acknowledged that the process required strict adherence to Japanese regulations. "Japan is very strict about everything, and there are quite a few procedural steps," she said. The property will be managed by a professional management company.
Tehy plans to visit the home in the latter part of the year. The construction took approximately three months and is now complete. When asked about rental interest, she confirmed that people have been inquiring and encouraged them to watch for listings on real estate websites. She revealed some notable Thai neighbors, including celebrities Ken Theeradej and Noi Bussakorn, who are her idols.
Responding to suggestions that this represents a major financial investment, she downplayed it: "I'm just someone who works and saves money, then invests in things I feel passionate about. It's not that big of a deal." She emphasized that it's a modest property with a beautiful mountain view, similar to building a home in Thailand.
Regarding her romantic relationship, she confirmed they've been together about two years. "Long-distance relationships aren't easy," she admitted. "Our schedules don't align often, but we're both focused on our individual careers, and that works for us." When asked about the foundation of their relationship, she highlighted trust and mutual support as the cornerstones: "For me, it's about trust and being a source of encouragement for each other."
