Thai Chamber of Commerce University Launches 'CEO MBAˣ' Program to Develop Next-Generation Business Leaders
Thai Chamber of Commerce University launches 'CEO MBAˣ,' an intensive master's program combining academic study with expertise from practicing executives, with classes held weekends and graduation in roughly one year starting 2025.
Thai Chamber of Commerce University's School of Business Administration is advancing educational reform with the launch of its 'CEO MBAˣ' master's program, emphasizing integrated learning that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience from business sector experts. The curriculum aims to address the need for creating next-generation organizational leaders who can compete in the rapidly evolving business world, with student enrollment beginning in the 2025 academic year.
The new program reflects the institution's adaptation to global trends, particularly integrating digital knowledge, innovation, and strategic management with direct experience from entrepreneurs and practicing executives. The teaching approach emphasizes case method and block course formats, enabling students to apply their learning both immediately and sustainably in their future careers.
Associate Professor Dr. Thanavorn Polwichai, rector of Thai Chamber of Commerce University, stated that the 'CEO MBAˣ' curriculum has been completely redesigned to align with current global business contexts. Classes are held exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays, with block course instruction allowing students to graduate within approximately one year. The program also allows course content to be adjusted to reflect changing economic and industry trends.
A key distinguishing feature is the integration of academic knowledge with expertise from practicing business professionals, with at least 50% of instructors drawn from the business sector to develop deeper perspectives and enhance students' decision-making capabilities in real situations. The curriculum encompasses four critical dimensions: Strategy and Global Vision, Digital Transformation and AI, People and Change Leadership, and Sustainability and Governance.
Dr. Ravida Viriyakij, dean of the School of Business Administration, noted that the 'CEO MBAˣ' program focuses on learning from practitioners actively engaged in business daily, combined with academic frameworks to transform experience into applicable knowledge. The flexible, modern curriculum can adapt to business trends while emphasizing deep learning through case studies. The block course format allows students to focus intensively on each subject while immediately applying knowledge to real work situations.
Students will develop strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex scenarios reflecting current business realities, while building professional networks with peers and instructors who are leading business executives. The program delivers both theoretical knowledge and practical experience that directly supports career success.
