Teenage Robber Fails to Steal from Two Burmese Men, Draws Knife and Stabs Victims Critically
A teenage robber stabbed two Burmese men with a knife after they refused to give him money near Khao Yoi, Phetchaburi Province on May 10. Police are searching for the suspect who fled on a motorcycle.
At 9:34 PM on May 10, 2569, Khao Yoi Police Station received a report that two Burmese men of unknown names and ages had been attacked with a knife and stabbed with critical injuries, lying in pools of blood. The incident occurred in an isolated, dark area near Yothimbunnarak School, Moo 3, Sapang Subdistrict, Khao Yoi District, Phetchaburi Province. The rescue team from Khao Yoi Hospital rushed to assist and transported both victims to the hospital for treatment. The assailant, an unidentified teenage male, fled into the darkness on a motorcycle after the attack. Police are conducting a search operation.
According to preliminary investigation, the two Burmese men were drinking beer at a food stall in the area when a teenage male on an old red Honda Wave motorcycle pulled up and asked for money. When they refused, the suspect drew a knife he had prepared and stabbed and slashed both victims, forcing them to flee in different directions. The suspect then escaped on his motorcycle under cover of darkness.
Police are currently investigating the scene and reviewing CCTV footage from nearby roads to identify the suspect's route and track him down for legal prosecution.
