PROXIE Celebrates 4 Years with Warm Fan Meet at Thunder Dome, Shares Special Song from Fan Club Postcards Growing Together with Users
PROXIE marked their 4th anniversary with a fan meeting at Thunder Dome, unveiling a special song created from 120,000 fan postcards that blended listener messages into the track "She is the Reason (Smile).
PROXIE celebrated their 4th anniversary with a warm fan meeting at Thunder Dome in Muang Thong Thani, presenting special moments and a unique song created from fan club postcard messages, growing alongside their user community.
The six members of PROXIE—Shokun-Pawaris, Victor-Worrawit, Kim-Pannathon, Gun-Ratchanon, Henry-Oscar, and Korn-Wannaiphirot—were ready to bring joy to users at the "4th PROXIEversary's Celebration Fan Meeting '404 Found You'" held at Thunder Dome in Muang Thong Thani in a warm atmosphere.
Before the event began, all six members spoke to media about the special significance of their 4th anniversary fan meeting.
Gun stated: "This is our 4th anniversary celebration fan meeting for PROXIE. We're really happy and excited because we're returning to Thunder Dome again. Our first time here was for our first concert as PROXIE, but this time it's a fan meeting. When we did the sound check and saw the stage and everything, we remembered the old days and felt like we were coming home to that old house we once visited, to share happiness with everyone."
What makes this 4th anniversary special?
Kim shared: "Of course, our family has grown over these 4 years. We're grateful to all our users who have supported us. Thank you for every opportunity and every contribution. Thank you to all the adults who made PROXIE possible today. Today's event is definitely very special because we've grown significantly. We're now holding it at Thunder Dome with many special performances."
Where did the theme idea come from?
Korn explained: "This year's anniversary event is an especially unique project because it's linked to a special song created from postcards sent by fans. We took the messages from those postcards and wrote them into a song—'She is the Reason (Smile).' We also had an exhibition at Siam Center. Both of those events led to this fan meeting."
Will there be a special single?
Shokun said: "It's the single Korn just mentioned. It's a single where we asked our users to send postcards, and we composed a song using the words from those postcards."
Korn added: "Last year we composed for the users; this year we had the users compose for us. Many people said they were excited to see their own handwriting on the song cover. It's special because it makes us feel this song truly connects us with our fans."
Kim remarked: "Wow, our users sent about 120,000 postcards!"
Korn joked: "They say Thai Post became slow because of all the PROXIE postcards being sent."
Gun laughed: "We have to do the math—divide by a hundred!"
Has this been a year where you've grown in work, age, and many other ways?
Shokun reflected: "We've definitely grown. PROXIE's fourth year—when we started, we were still in high school. Now in year four, many of us are in our third or fourth year of university. It's like PROXIE and our users have grown together."
Might there be tears today?
Kim said: "They could be tears of joy because we're here to share happiness and have fun. Everyone should leave with a smile. Victor might be the one crying—he speaks less, but he has deep feelings."
Victor replied: "This time I'll keep it brief."
Korn joked: "Does anyone remember Victor's speech at the big concert? My dad came home and said Victor talks a lot too."
Victor: "I've been playing games lately."
Kim added: "Henry just scammed Gun the other day and he succeeded. The money came through right away."
Gun: "What did you buy when you scammed me? A Switch. It started when this guy casually mentioned he had an unused case, so I gave it to him."
