Khao Khiao Open Zoo Celebrates 14th Birthday of 'Moo Manao' with Giant Fruit Cake for Adorable Couple 'Moo Toon'

Khao Khiao Open Zoo celebrated the 14th birthday of 'Moo Manao,' a beloved pygmy hippopotamus and star of the zoo's wildlife exhibition, alongside her partner 'Moo Toon' in a heartwarming atmosphere on May 12, 2569.
Under the supervision of the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand, zoo director Narongwit Chadchoy revealed that the special birthday surprise was organized for the female pygmy hippopotamus born on May 12, 2555. Moo Manao was transferred from Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo to fulfill her important role as a life companion to Moo Toon, the zoo's charming male hippo, enhancing the animal exhibition and bringing joy to visitors.
The celebration venue buzzed with excitement as numerous tourists gathered to offer birthday wishes and witness the couple's adorable moment up close. The zoo prepared a special fruit cake crafted from fresh vegetables and various fruits including watermelon, dragon fruit, carrots, corn, water spinach, and fresh grass, allowing Moo Manao to enjoy a delicious celebration with her beloved partner in an wonderfully warm atmosphere.
Zoo Director Narongwit Chadchoy further emphasized that proper animal care and suitable environmental conditions for all residents remain the zoo's primary objective, aligned with the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand's royal patronage policy. The successful pairing of Moo Manao and Moo Toon not only brings smiles to visitors but also promotes the zoo's star animal image (Zoo Stars), making the zoo an engaging nature learning destination for youth and tourists of all ages.
