Hunt On for Male-Female Thief Duo Who Brazenly Stole Animals from Pata Zoo in Broad Daylight, Ignoring CCTV
Police hunt a man and woman who brazenly stole a Chinese alligator lizard and tiger-striped salamander from Pata Zoo's reptile enclosures on May 1st despite full CCTV coverage of their midday theft.
It happened! A male and female thief duo broke into the reptile enclosures at Pata Zoo and made off with a Chinese alligator lizard and a tiger-striped salamander stuffed into a backpack. They struck in broad daylight without any concern for CCTV surveillance. A police report has been filed. On May 6th, the Pata Zoo Facebook page posted a search for two criminals who stole animals from the zoo on May 1st. According to the details revealed, the perpetrators are a man and woman approximately 25-35 years old who entered the zoo at 10:40 AM on May 1st, which was Labor Day. They wore a tied cardigan and carried a blue backpack containing a young monkey and squirrel, which they left at the ticket counter. By 11:00 AM, a short-haired woman wearing clear glasses and a tank top used the tied cardigan to cover a large tattoo on her right arm. At 11:06 AM, she used her bare hands to pry open a reptile enclosure using the cardigan to conceal her actions. The man with her did the same with another enclosure. They then grabbed one Chinese alligator lizard and one tiger-striped salamander, placing them in the blue backpack they were carrying. They quickly walked away from that spot, retrieved the monkey and squirrel they had deposited, and fled immediately. All of the criminals' actions were clearly captured by CCTV cameras, and a report has been filed with Bangyikhan Police Station. The zoo's page concluded with a warning: 'Let you both know that the animals at Pata Zoo are no different from John Wick's dog!!!'
