Famous Spiritual Healer Appears Before Police; Crime Suppression Division Searches Premises, Collects Evidence and Seizes Clothing for Investigation
Police searched a spiritual healer's home in Lamphun Province on a court warrant, seizing clothing and documents as evidence in an ongoing investigation.
Police from the Crime Suppression Division executed a court-issued search warrant at the residence of a famous spiritual healer in Pa Sang District, Lamphun Province on May 9th, with his attorney present as a witness. Deputy Police Colonel Eaksit Pansita, Unit 4 commander, explained that the search was conducted to collect documentary evidence from the incident location for thorough investigation, and that today's operation was strictly a search warrant execution with nothing more. The collected evidence, including clothing, CCTV data storage boxes, documents, and other materials, were documented according to legal procedures before being sent to Unit 4 for forensic examination. Later that evening at 8:15 PM on May 9th, the spiritual healer arrived at Pa Sang Police Station with his students to sign documents acknowledging the seized and confiscated items. When reporters attempted to ask why he received a summons or other questions, the healer declined to answer and immediately went inside to meet with officers.
