Tee Tee and Po Open Up About Negative Comments, Supporting Each Other as a Safe Zone During the Toughest Times

Actors Tee Tee and Po opened up about handling negative comments and supporting each other through personal struggles, revealing how their characters' emotional depth has helped fans overcome difficult times.

6d ago Khaosod

Behind the smiles and vibrant energy, Tee Wan Phichit and Po Suphakarn gave a heartfelt interview on Woody Talk, revealing lesser-known facets of their relationship and friendship, along with the pressures they face. They discussed handling negative feedback and how they serve as safe zones for each other.

When asked about their feelings regarding achieving their dreams, Tee Tee expressed surprise at exceeding expectations: "I felt it surpassed expectations significantly. At first, we had hopes of becoming somewhat famous, and I'm really happy with this level of response."

Tee Tee added: "I'm grateful the series took us this far, and this is our first leading role where people actually liked it. The happiness from hearing positive feedback is genuinely uplifting."

When asked what compliments touched them most, Po shared: "I think it's when people tell us we helped them get through difficult days." Tee Tee recalled a private talk event where both a psychiatrist and their patient attended. The patient brought them along to watch, and it seemed to give the patient courage. The psychiatrist later told them that meeting them made the patient smile more.

Discussing their characters' appeal, Po explained: "The characters connect with people—across friendships and relationships—in ways many people wish existed in real life." Tee Tee noted that Po's character, Duang, represents ideal qualities, while Duang's girlfriend Chin has a contrasting, more complex background.

Po revealed that Chin's character mirrors some of his own experiences, particularly regarding performance pressure and negative criticism. He shared that a turning point in his life came through close friends and a week-long immersive experience with a band that helped him unlock his ability to express himself—something that took nine years to develop.

Tee Tee acknowledged Po's journey: "He often shares stories from childhood about being a trainee and constantly fighting. Despite the challenges, he keeps pushing forward." Po reflected on initially pursuing acting before eventually embracing music, training at different agencies, and eventually finding his path.

Manchester United Decides Against Appointing Andoni Iraola as New Permanent Manager

Manchester United has decided against appointing Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola as permanent head coach, instead favoring interim boss Michael Carrick for the role. Iraola, who previously managed Bournemouth, has now lost out on the opportunity despite being considered a top candidate earlier. Chelsea has also expressed interest in Iraola as they search for their own new manager.

6d ago Khaosod

Manchester United has ruled out appointing Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola as the club's new permanent head coach, with Michael Carrick being given the opportunity for the role instead. Although interim manager Carrick has guided United to an impressive finish, securing Champions League qualification for next season, the club has yet to finalize its decision on the permanent manager position. Iraola had previously been linked with United as a leading candidate, with the board impressed by his managerial approach at Bournemouth. The 43-year-old manager parted ways with The Cherries at the end of the season. However, recent reports from the Daily Mail indicate that Carrick is now closer to being appointed as Manchester United's permanent manager, while Iraola's chances for the position have diminished. Chelsea is also among the clubs interested in Iraola for their vacant head coach position.

Global Energy Crisis Pressures Producer Price Index, April 2025 Growth Reaches 9.1%

Thailand's producer price index surged 9.1% in April 2025 driven by global energy crisis, with mining and industrial products hit hardest while agricultural prices fell due to weak demand. Manufacturers face ongoing cost pressures but limit

6d ago Khaosod

According to Nanthapong Jiralertpongsa, director of the Office of Trade and Investment Policy (OTIP), Thailand's producer price index for April 2025 stood at 117.5, representing a 9.1% increase from the same period last year due to rising global energy prices. This surge particularly affected mining products and industrial products, which climbed 10.7%, with petroleum products, related industrial goods, and gold experiencing the sharpest increases driven by Middle Eastern tensions affecting global supply chains and shipping costs. Chemical products, plastics, fertilizers, rubber products, and plastic packaging all saw price increases stemming from higher energy and raw material costs, while agricultural products declined slightly by 0.5% due to ample domestic supply, with decreases in rice, sugarcane, fruits, livestock, and shrimp prices reflecting weak global demand and domestic economic conditions.

Looking ahead to May 2025, the OTIP expects the producer price index to expand at a slower rate, though production costs remain elevated due to persistently high global energy prices and logistics expenses. While manufacturers face continuous cost pressures, their ability to pass these increases to consumers is limited by weak domestic economic recovery and consumer purchasing power, with competitive pricing pressures preventing full price adjustments across industries. Director Nanthapong noted that April's overall price increase reflects the sustained volatility in global energy markets, which has driven up domestic refined oil prices and shipping costs, significantly impacting production costs across multiple industrial sectors.

A 60-ton gross cargo tugboat belonging to Pairat Rungroj Company capsized in the sea near Tao Lae Island in Prachuap Khiri Khan province on May 11. The vessel, which had departed from Bang Pakong Port headed for Samui Island in Surat Thani province, was carrying three crew members. The third crew member, 18-year-old Phu from Samut Prakan, remains missing at sea. According to survivors' accounts, the vessel encountered severe rain squalls and strong gusts starting around 2 PM on May 11 near Tao Lae Island. Water leaked into the engine room, and despite the captain's attempts to navigate away from the waves toward the island's headland, the vessel could not withstand the powerful waves and wind, ultimately capsizing. Rescue authorities are currently conducting coordinated search efforts with local fishing vessels and marine police to locate the missing crew member.

Lottery Enthusiasts Seek Lucky Numbers at Golden Tamarind Tree Spirit Ritual After Multiple Winning Draws

Devotees gathered at a temple in Nakhon Ratchasima on May 13 for a spirit ritual at a Golden Tamarind Tree shrine, seeking lottery numbers from ancestral spirits credited with previous winning draws.

6d ago Khaosod

On May 13, 2025, a spirit veneration ceremony (bua rung sawang) was held at Wat Thar Uthumphon in Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima, to invite two ancestral spirits said to be 200 years old into a wooden statue at the Golden Tamarind Tree shrine at 9:49 a.m. According to reports, villagers had previously come to light incense and request lucky numbers from the spirits, and several won lottery prizes consecutively, prompting them to organize this grand ceremony. A female statue dressed in traditional Thai silk was offered, along with nine dancers performing in gratitude.

The spirits, known as Mae Ya Takhian Kaew Phutakhong and Mae Ya Takhian Kaew Busbong, are believed to inhabit a giant tamarind tree over 200 years old that was discovered buried in the riverbed of Lampactakhong River several years ago. The tree was over 29 meters long and was brought to the temple on a trailer. Village head Phra Somdej (Luang Pee Doi) explained that after the spirits came to people's dreams, villagers established a shrine for them.

Lottery seekers attending the ceremony reported seeing numbers in incense ash, with some planning to buy tickets for the May 16 lottery draw using numbers like 843-384-34-84. Many lottery vendors set up at the venue to serve the crowds of hopeful players.

Man Suffers Severe Allergic Reaction After Buying Hair Dye Online, Wakes Up to Festering Scalp and Facial Swelling

A 44-year-old restaurant owner in Ratchaburi Province suffered a severe allergic reaction to hair dye purchased online, developing a festering scalp and facial swelling that required medical attention. The unregistered product had no Thai l

6d ago Khaosod

A man's purchase of online hair dye resulted in a severe allergic reaction that left his scalp festering with yellow fluid discharge and facial swelling. After posting about his experience on Facebook, describing the itching, fluid leakage, and hair loss he experienced, the post went viral with thousands of likes, comments, and shares. On May 13, 2025, reporters contacted the man, identified as Nai Kai, 44, from Muang District in Ratchaburi Province, who owns a fish rice soup restaurant in Ratchaburi Municipality. Nai Kai still needed to wrap his head with white gauze due to continuous yellow fluid seepage.

Nai Kai explained that he purchased the hair dye from a popular app that advertised it as made from natural extracts at an affordable price. On May 9, he applied the dye for approximately five minutes, coloring only the hair roots at the front and temple areas. "When I woke up the next morning, my face felt tight and I noticed yellow fluid oozing out," he recounted. He initially thought it was a typical allergic reaction and bought medicine to take and washed his hair with children's shampoo, but the symptoms worsened and his face began to swell.

After visiting a doctor, Nai Kai requested a medical certificate but the doctor was unable to provide one because the specific allergen was unknown. The product packaging contained no Thai language labeling. Following advice from friends, he filed a report with the Muang Ratchaburi Public Health Office, which discovered the hair dye brand had no official product registration. When Nai Kai contacted the Facebook seller and showed photos of his severe reaction, the seller went silent. He now urges consumers to carefully verify reviews and check credentials before purchasing products advertised as natural extracts, as he admits having no prior knowledge of such matters. He was fortunate the dye did not contact his eyes.
