Sugar Chalita Opens Up About 2-Year Relationship with Charlie Temple, Still Not Ready for Marriage; Emphasizes Quality Content Over Engagement Bait

Sugar Chalita revealed she's been dating Charlie Temple for nearly two years but isn't ready for marriage, preferring to focus on her career and creating meaningful content rather than chasing viral moments.

14h ago Khaosod

Sugar Chalita shared relationship updates at the EVEANDBOY BEST SELLING AWARDS 2025 event at One Bangkok, discussing her nearly two-year romance with international boyfriend Charlie Temple. Though she loves him deeply and he's supportive, she's not yet considering marriage, preferring to focus on work and personal life first. She stressed that she and her collaborator Naht prioritize creating meaningful, socially beneficial content rather than chasing viral moments through drama.

When asked about sharing couple moments, she joked they rarely post anything sweet and that her friend takes photos instead. Her boyfriend recently surprised her with pink shoes he knew she wanted. She clarified he doesn't always spoil her—if she wants something, she just tells him. He never shows up empty-handed to events and is consistently supportive. She noted this is simply his responsibility, and she doesn't expect grand gestures; she's content as long as they're together and she can be herself.

Regarding language barriers, she explained that daily English practice has made communication smoother over time. He understands Thai culture exceptionally well, even better than she does in some ways. She spends more time with her work partner Naht than her boyfriend due to their filming schedule, though he occasionally mentions they haven't seen each other in a day.

She's been dating for nearly two years with multiple anniversary dates they celebrate—though she can't remember official dates since she's forgetful and he remembers their first meeting. When asked about marriage plans, she said she's not ready yet and wants to continue working, earning, and living life. She enjoys attending weddings and catching the bouquet but hasn't succeeded yet.

On content creation, she and Naht discuss what to produce, being mindful of appropriateness and cultural sensitivity. She rarely creates trend-chasing content, preferring to serve helpful material that educates and entertains. They balance meaningful content with lighter, frivolous posts. Many creators struggle with location permissions, and she acknowledged this is a concern—she always asks permission before filming and doesn't act recklessly.

Lydia and Matthew Update Legal Case Against Former Manager, Acknowledge Mental Toll, Eager for Quick Resolution

Entertainment couple Lydia Saranrach and Matthew Dean are pursuing a legal case against their former personal manager, acknowledging the ongoing lawsuit is taking a mental toll as they await court proceedings to conclude.

14h ago Khaosod

One of Thailand's beloved entertainment couples, Lydia Saranrach and Matthew Dean, recently appeared together at the TCL Thailand New Product Grand Launch 2026 event at Impact Exhibition Hall 6 in Muang Thonburi on May 21st. Beyond sharing highlights from their romantic two-person trip to New Zealand, the couple also discussed the progress of their legal case against their former personal manager, which is currently in court proceedings. They acknowledged the case has affected their mental wellbeing and expressed their desire for it to conclude as quickly as possible, while maintaining faith in the justice system.

When asked if they had just returned from New Zealand as a couple, Lydia explained they're still adjusting to the time difference, waking at 4:30 AM daily due to the 5-6 hour difference. Matthew noted it was the longest they'd ever been apart from their child, an 8-day trip where he participated in a half-marathon in Hawke's Bay. Lydia shared she was pressured into running 10 kilometers after there was no kids' run category, though she enjoyed the supportive atmosphere of the event.

Regarding their romantic getaway, Lydia mentioned they've only recently started taking couples trips together, aiming for one annually. Matthew recommended New Zealand to all couples as a beautiful destination.

When asked about the legal case's progress, Lydia stated they're following court procedures and currently awaiting court dates, with no need to prepare additional evidence. She acknowledged the process is taking considerable time but understands it must follow proper steps. When asked if they'd spoken to the other party outside of court, Lydia confirmed they had tried but it didn't lead anywhere. She indicated they remain open to settlement if possible but past attempts at discussion have failed.

Asked how much the case troubles them, Lydia admitted it's inevitable that a lawsuit causes distress. She explained they normally don't have problems with anyone, but this dispute is clearly affecting their mental state and she wants it resolved quickly. The case already has a monetary claim and only the final stage remains. They're currently in the witness examination phase.

When asked if she discusses the matter with friends, Lydia acknowledged there is some stress involved, particularly given their busy lives with three children, work commitments, and personal activities like training for running and exercise. She emphasized she wants the case to end as soon as possible and trusts in the justice system to resolve it fairly.

Gaming Addiction: Three Siblings Run Away from Home After Being Banned from Playing Free Fire

Three siblings aged 9 to 14 fled their home in Gujarat, India after their father banned them from playing Free Fire, taking about 5,000 baht with them. Police suspect they boarded a train to Mumbai and have launched a search operation.

14h ago Khaosod

Three siblings have run away from home after becoming upset with their father for banning them from playing Free Fire. On May 22, foreign media reported that three children from Surat, Gujarat, India fled with approximately 15,000 rupees (around 5,000 baht) after being prohibited from playing the game. Police suspect the three may have boarded a train bound for Mumbai.

The three children consist of a 14-year-old boy, an 11-year-old brother, and a 9-year-old sister. They all left home early in the morning on May 19 while their family was sleeping.

The family revealed to police that the children were heavily addicted to Free Fire and frequently used their father's mobile phone to play for extended periods. Previously, the children's father had returned to his hometown and accidentally left his phone at home, allowing the three to spend most of their time gaming on the device. When the father returned, the mother began expressing concern that the children were spending too much time on mobile games. The father then decided to remove the SIM card from the phone and lock it away in a cabinet to try to limit their gaming behavior.

However, being banned from gaming made all three children upset, and they decided to run away from home with some cash. When the family discovered the children were missing, they immediately reported it to police.

Police revealed they have established five investigation teams to track down the children, working in coordination with multiple agencies. Initial reviews of CCTV footage show that all three children appear to be safe.

Thai police face criticism for seeking help from children during arrestLegacyTwo high-school students in Nakhon Si Thammarat helped police restrain a suspect on a public road, causing a debate about the safety and appropriateness of civilian involvement in police operations. Footage of the incident was shared by TikTok user @jxjxens before being reposted by several news outlets and Facebook pages. It showed two police officers struggling with a man riding a white motorcycle in the middle of Nakhon Si Thammarat-Baan Song Road outside Chwang Rachdaphisek School. During the incident, one officer appeared to signal for assistance by nodding towards bystanders nearby. Two male students, later identified as Potae and Garfield, then rushed to help officers restrain the suspect. Many social media users praised the students for their bravery and willingness to assist police, while others expressed concern about the risks faced by the teenagers. Photo via TikTok/ @jxjxens Some commenters argued civilians, particularly children, should not become involved in police operations because suspects could potentially carry weapons. Others criticised police officers for appearing to seek help from members of the public instead of waiting for additional police support. Channel 8 later interviewed the two students, who said the incident happened at about 4pm after school had finished for the day. Potae and Garfield explained they had been riding home on a motorcycle when they stopped to watch the situation unfold. The students said they believed officers were asking for assistance, prompting them to intervene. Photo via TikTok/ @jxjxens Both boys admitted they did not consider the possible dangers at the time. Garfield added that he did not think about whether the suspect might have a weapon and said he was not afraid during the incident. Media reports later stated the motorcyclist was carrying a knife. However, no additional offences were discovered. Officials also reported the man was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and had no previous criminal record. According to reports, the man questioned police about why he had been detained, claiming he was innocent. As of publication, the officers involved had not publicly clarified the reason for the operation.

Parliament in No Rush: Sophon Explains Why Opposition Bill to Establish Special Committee Not Yet Included, Awaiting Constitutional Court Ruling

Parliament is waiting for a Constitutional Court ruling on the opposition's petition before moving forward with establishing a special committee to oversee a 400-billion-baht loan decree, House Speaker Sophon Saram said.

15h ago Khaosod

House Speaker Sophon Saram addressed the opposition Democratic Party's urgent motion to establish a special committee to oversee the 400-billion-baht loan decree, stating that the matter is currently pending a Constitutional Court ruling on a petition filed by opposition parties. The court has a 60-day window to decide. "The legislature will consider action once the court sends back its ruling," Sophon said, noting that the administration has not yet used the funds and rushing the oversight process would be inappropriate timing. He emphasized that while expedited scrutiny of public spending is important, it must proceed at the right moment without obstruction. Sophon also mentioned that multiple political parties are expected to submit additional constitutional amendment drafts next week, with consideration likely in June.
