Khla Tham Party Reshuffles Leadership: Thammanat Takes the Helm as Party Chief
Group Captain Thammanat Prompow was elected chief of the Khla Tham Party at its annual assembly on April 28, replacing outgoing leader Nramol Pinyosinwat who resigned the previous day.
The Khla Tham Party held its 2025 annual general assembly on April 28 at 2:00 PM at the Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel in Bangkok, led by Group Captain Thammanat Prompow, a party-list MP and chairman of the party's advisory board. The meeting drew strong participation from party executives, MPs, and members, with the primary agenda being the reorganization of the party's executive committee following Nramol Pinyosinwat's resignation as party chief on April 27. Thatpreechai Boonpramook, a Tak province MP, nominated Thammanat Prompow for the position, and the meeting proceeded to vote on the new party leadership and executive committee members.
The new executive committee of the Khla Tham Party consists of 21 members, including Group Captain Thammanat Prompow as party chief, Phai Lik as secretary-general, Nramol Pinyosinwat as treasurer, and Boonsingh Wrintaruk as party registrar. The committee also includes 17 other executive members.
The party also elected 12 deputy party chiefs, including Police Brigadier Surin Palare, Bunyying Nitikaanjana, Air Vice Marshal Anudit Nakorntharp, and others. Additionally, the meeting appointed Atthakorn Sirilattayakorn, a Chachoengsao province MP, as party spokesperson. Party chief adviser positions were filled by Chaloemchai Sriawn, Paveena Hongsukul, and General Prajuab Wongsuk.
