Deputy PM Yosachnan Takes Family Through Futurium's 'Job World' Zone to Develop Skills in 27 Dream Careers, Strengthening Thai Youth for Global Stage
Deputy PM Yosachnan visited Futurium's Job World zone with his family, where youth can explore 27 different careers through interactive workshops designed to inspire the next generation of Thai innovators for the global stage.
On May 2, 2025, at Futurium (Future Innovation Center) in Khlong Ha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Yosachnan Wongsawat spent his weekend break bringing his family, including his wife and children, to experience next-generation learning at Southeast Asia's most modern learning landmark. The visit aimed to promote human resource development through modern innovation and technology.
Yosachnan and his family spent over half a day exploring the Innovation World zone through advanced interactive systems, which focus on building a "thinking framework" to help youth understand how technology solves real-life problems. The zone features seven major highlights including smart transportation systems and futuristic travel, industrial robotics and automated systems with an interactive surgical robot experience for precision training, disaster management with crisis simulation rooms covering typhoons and fire evacuation, alternative energy exploring clean energy sources and sustainable energy security, smart agriculture ranging from precision farming to eco-friendly packaging, biotechnology and nanotechnology presented in easy-to-understand formats, and space and aviation innovation including moon surface simulation and life design on other planets.
A major highlight is the Job World zone, which allows children ages 9-18 to participate in 1.5-hour workshops simulating 27 different professions across 9 learning centers. These include smart agriculture engineers, logistics planners, petroleum geologists, eco-conscious chefs, disaster managers, robotics engineers, and pharmaceutical innovators. The goal is to inspire youth by showing how science can create the future.
Deputy PM Yosachnan expressed his impressions of the visit, noting that while he had previously visited similar facilities in South Korea which impressed him greatly, Thailand's science museum achieves equally excellent results. Futurium makes complex science topics accessible, enjoyable, and contemporary. Importantly, the Job World zone clearly shows children how knowledge translates into livelihoods. He expressed confidence that this facility will provide significant inspiration for Thai youth to reach global levels, and invited all families to experience Thailand's innovation excellence at Futurium.
