On April 26, 2025, Police Captain Ananda Worasat, commander of Bang Khae Police Station, ordered officers including Deputy Commander Kanin Khumkhun and other patrol officers to apprehend a 31-year-old man named Pang (surname withheld) along with drug paraphernalia including 0.62 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 190 methamphetamine tablets, a mobile phone, and a green shoulder bag.
The arrest occurred when patrol officers conducting a routine area check near Sukhumvit 5 Road in Bang Khae District, Bangkok, noticed Pang riding a motorcycle with suspicious behavior. Upon stopping and searching him, officers found methamphetamine tablets concealed in his right pants pocket and crystal methamphetamine hidden in a cartoon-patterned container inside his shoulder bag.
During questioning, Pang admitted that all the drugs came from a man named Bank (age approximately 30, height 165 cm) and that he was hired to deliver them to a building in the Wachirphol area for a fee of 200 baht. Pang stated he panicked when he spotted the police while riding his motorcycle. He has been transferred to Bang Khae Police Station for further legal proceedings.
