Approximately 30 million general citizens and salaried workers are eligible, with the government subsidizing 60 percent and recipients paying 40 percent for qualifying expenses. The program provides up to 1,000 baht per person per month (4,000 baht total over four months from June 1 to September 30) through the G-Wallet application. Eligibility requires being at least 18 years old with a Thai national ID card, while those holding state welfare cards or suspended from previous cash transfer programs are ineligible. Registration occurs through the Pao Tang app between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., with participating merchants available from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. As of 6:11 a.m. on May 25, approximately 26.4 million slots remained available, though some users experienced system access issues.
