Arrest warrants being prepared for "Tae" and "James" in shooting of delivery worker
Police are preparing arrest warrants for two suspects known as "Tae" and "James" after a delivery worker was shot four times outside a house in Pathum Thani Province, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.
Arrest warrants are being prepared for two suspects nicknamed "Tae" and "James" in connection with a shooting that left 24-year-old delivery worker Anuruk (surname withheld) critically injured outside a house in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. The victim was shot four times with a 9mm weapon—twice in the abdomen, once in the left shoulder, and once in the left leg.
On May 9, 2025, police at Khlong Luang Station, led by Deputy Superintendent Chalat Hom-ngern, along with officers Nawachai Chomchai and Pongnoppon Rungroj, held an urgent meeting to pursue the case. They summoned Chatadar (surname withheld), 23, the victim's girlfriend, for additional questioning to help identify the suspects.
Deputy Superintendent Chalat stated that investigators have already identified the perpetrators and are gathering evidence to request arrest warrants from the court. The victim remains hospitalized at Thammasat Hospital and cannot yet provide a statement. Police confirmed two people were involved—one fired the weapon while the other served as the getaway driver. Both suspects are known by nicknames "James" and "Tae." Tae reportedly has three to four outstanding cases. It is expected the suspects will be apprehended shortly after the court approves the arrest warrants.
According to Chatadar, the victim currently suffers from paralysis from the waist down. Doctors indicated the most serious concern is spinal damage, which could affect the nervous system and requires close monitoring, particularly if surgery becomes necessary. She stated she does not know the motive for the attack. She described Anuruk as a private delivery truck driver and said she had only briefly encountered James at a friend's birthday party, while she had barely met Tae at all.
