Two Armed Gunmen Open Fire on Delivery Driver at Girlfriend's House, Leaving Him Critical
Two gunmen opened fire on a delivery driver outside his girlfriend's house in Pathum Thani, leaving him critically wounded with multiple gunshot injuries; police have identified the suspects and are pursuing their arrest.
On May 8 at 11 p.m., police from Khlong Luang Station received a report of a shooting at Suthirak Pattana Community, Moo 9, Khlong Song Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. Officers rushed to the scene and found Anurak (name withheld), 24, a delivery driver, severely wounded with three gunshot wounds from a 9mm pistol—two to the abdomen, one to the left shoulder, and one to the left leg. He was rushed to Thammasat University Hospital. A large pool of blood was found at the front door, and three 9mm shell casings were recovered. A motorcycle parked in front also sustained bullet damage.
Anurak's sister, Usa (name withheld), 29, stated that her brother worked as a delivery driver and had recently reconciled with his girlfriend after they had separated. She was unaware of any conflicts he may have had.
The homeowner reported hearing five gunshots fired into the house. During questioning, the girlfriend, Chathadar (name withheld), 23, revealed that two suspects named Te and James arrived in a white SUV. James had previously called her boyfriend to arrange a meeting. When they came outside, Te got out of the vehicle and demanded she get in, but she refused. A struggle ensued, and Te pulled out a gun and fired 3-4 shots before fleeing.
Chathadar explained that Te was someone her boyfriend knew who had asked him to go to Nong Khai, though she didn't know the purpose. She and her boyfriend had only recently reconciled after breaking up and were living separately. When Te arrived today, her boyfriend initially wanted to go with him, but declined because of work commitments, which sparked an argument. Te used a dark-colored pistol. Police have identified the suspects and are actively pursuing their arrest.
