Lookaed Metinee Confused by Tae's Comments: Explains Why She Didn't Join the Popular Show, Reveals Which Seasons Were Actually Fun Without Her

Looksaed Metinee responded angrily to host Tae's recent interview about The Face Thailand Season 7, claiming he gave false hope by suggesting her return when she was never invited to the show and instead joined Take Hormone.

24 May Khaosod

Despite loving the show, she's not going anymore! Lookaed Metinee fired back at Tae's confusing remarks about giving people hope, revealing why she didn't join the popular program and saying it didn't show her respect. To be blunt, Metinee wasn't there—which seasons were actually fun?

Regarding The Face Thailand Season 7, Tae Piyarat Kalpcharuk spoke about announcing mentors in advance for the first time, responding to fans' disappointment that Lookaed Metinee and B Namthip went to another show instead, saying she was happy with their decision to work elsewhere and that everyone could return to work together in the future, possibly soon and unexpectedly, since she wasn't attached to anyone. However, she didn't want it to become a back-and-forth argument.

Most recently, Lookaed Metinee went live to address Tae's interview clip: "This morning I woke up and people kept sending me caps of her interview with captions saying 'not angry at Lookaed - B, okay,' then she ended by saying maybe we'd work together. Why would she say that? She's giving people false hope again. I didn't go to that show—I went to Take Hormone instead."

"When they first made the teaser, they made it seem like there would be grapes, so everyone thought I had to be there since Lookaed means dried grapes. They probably thought I'd definitely be there. Then boom, I announced Take Hormone and people asked if I was going to that other show. No, because they never invited me—not once."

"Suddenly I saw lots of people from that show go to Take Hormone Season 2's finale, and Goroangon got upset and announced she'd step back from anyone who participated in that show. Then suddenly it all ended and nothing happened. Maybe we'll work together eventually. Are you confused? Because I'm confused."

"Let me be clear—whatever show needs buzz, needs memes, they invite me. In the past, they didn't want it, so I didn't go. Who am I to tell Lookaed where's fun?"

"I'm... confused. We're fair people. We loved that show because we literally built it with our hands and sweat. I absolutely loved that show."

"But for various reasons in past seasons, maybe they didn't show me respect, so I didn't go. So what? When you see me go somewhere else, why are you confused about me? I'm confused."

During the live, Lookaed read a comment saying the show wasn't fun anymore: "It's not fun because Metinee isn't there—let me be direct. Which seasons were actually fun without Lookaed? It's straightforward. I don't consider it as coming, going, or anything like that—it's just straight facts."

Thai cyber police seek suspects over explicit livestream

Thai cyber police are investigating an explicit sexual livestream that circulated widely on Facebook, warning that sharing or liking the content could result in criminal charges under the Computer Crime Act.

24 May Khaosod

BANGKOK — 24 May 2026, Thai cyber police said they are seeking those responsible for an explicit sexual livestream widely circulated on Facebook, warning that people who like or share the content could also face criminal charges.

Maj. Gen. Chatpandakarn Klaiklueng, deputy commissioner of the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau, said on 24 May that cyber police became aware of the livestream on the night it appeared after social media monitoring officers detected the clip and alerted senior officials.

He said the Technology Crime Inspection and Analysis Division had been ordered to investigate the URL and identify the people appearing in the video.

Authorities are examining whether the page owner or individuals in the footage are Thai nationals or located in Thailand. If so, police will pursue charges under Thailand's Computer Crime Act for importing obscene content into a computer system, he said.

Police pledged to pursue the case "strictly and to the fullest extent of the law".

Chatpandakarn also said cyber police would coordinate with Facebook Thailand to review why the platform's online community standards failed to detect and remove the sexually explicit material before it spread to an audience reportedly numbering in the millions.

He said online platforms already have content moderation standards intended to filter harmful material, particularly sexual content, which should normally be removed immediately.

Cyber police urged social media users who encounter similar content to report it and contact the cyber police hotline, 1441.

Officials described such material as harmful online content that could encourage imitation, particularly among children and young people.

Police warned against posting sexually explicit material online, saying offenders could face prosecution under Section 14 of the Computer Crime Act, including provisions covering false information and obscene content uploaded to computer systems.

Violators face penalties of up to five years in prison, a fine of up to 100,000 baht (£2,100), or both, police said.

Authorities also warned users against liking, sharing or redistributing explicit clips, saying those who knowingly disseminate obscene or unlawful computer data could face the same penalties as the original posters under the law.

Police praised for driving homeless man 250 kilometers home to reunite with family after month-long search

Phetchabun police drove a 53-year-old homeless man with mental illness 250 kilometers home to his family in Loei Province after finding him wandering along a roadside, reuniting him with relatives who had been searching for over a month.

24 May Khaosod

Police from Khao Kho Station in Phetchabun have earned praise for using a patrol vehicle to transport a homeless man with mental health issues approximately 250 kilometers to his home in Na Dua District, Loei Province, reuniting him with his family who had been searching for him for over a month. The round trip totaled nearly 500 kilometers.

On May 24, Lieutenant Narint Srimorkan, deputy superintendent of Khao Kho Police Station, explained that while he and Sergeant Piyapong Sao Thang were conducting road patrols on the Sadet Phong-Khao Kho route, they found a man walking along the roadside. Upon questioning, the man appeared disoriented and incoherent. Officers checked his ID and identified him as Wimon Phan Kham, 53 years old, from Na Dok Kam Subdistrict, Chiang Yuen District, Loei Province.

After reporting to Superintendent Boonthung Mueangsaeng and conducting a family search, they found contact information for his relatives. However, the family indicated they were unable to retrieve him at that time. The superintendent authorized officers to transport the man home, citing concerns about a stranger's presence in the area and potential safety risks to the community and the man himself.

Lieutenants Wallachai Buajunthon and Sergeant Piyapong Sao Thang accompanied the man on the 250-kilometer journey to his home. They discovered that Wimon lived with his sister and suffered from mental illness, frequently wandering away. He had gone missing at the beginning of the month, and his relatives had been searching extensively without success.

Officers instructed the family to ensure Wimon takes prescribed medication and receives close supervision to prevent him from becoming lost again, which could endanger him.

Images reveal deadly underwater cave in the Maldives where five Italian divers lost their lives to zero visibility and disorientation

First images from a deadly underwater cave in the Maldives show near-zero visibility caused by sediment clouds, revealing how five Italian divers became disoriented and ran out of air at 50-60 meters depth on May 15.

24 May Khaosod

First images from an underwater cave 50-60 meters deep in Vavuu Atoll, Maldives have been released following a tragedy that claimed the lives of five Italian tourists on May 15. The photographs, captured by Finnish rescue diver Sami Paakkarinen during the final search mission, show how sediment clouds reduce visibility to near-zero in the cave's depths, with rescue teams believing the group became disoriented before running out of air.

Images near the cave entrance still show natural light penetrating the water—this is where diving instructor and boat captain Gianluca Benedetti was found on May 14, the day of the incident. However, deeper inside the cave, the water becomes so murky that visibility is nearly impossible. Rescue divers believe the group lost their way inside the cave before their air supplies were exhausted.

Experts note that the cave contains narrow passages and large amounts of sediment that can be easily stirred up by even small fin movements, completely obscuring vision. It is believed the diving instructor attempted to find the exit but ran out of air near the cave entrance.

Rome's prosecutor's office has launched a formal investigation to determine why experienced divers exceeded safe diving depth limits of 30 meters—which is the Maldives' regulatory maximum—without proper permits, training, or required equipment.

Previous reports indicated that all five divers went missing while exploring the underwater cave at approximately 50 meters depth, exceeding the Maldives' authorized diving depth of 30 meters, and they lacked the necessary permits, training certifications, and safety equipment required by law.

Four arrested in 'Big Jack 777' loan shark gang charging astronomical 3,000% annual interest rates

Police arrested four members of the "Big Jack 777" loan shark gang operating through Line and Facebook, charging borrowers up to 3,000% annual interest and using intimidation tactics including threatening home visits. The Bangkok-based oper

24 May Khaosod

On May 24, 2025, police under the command of Pol. Maj. Gen. Tatsaphumi Charupratya, head of the Police Central Investigation Bureau's Anti-Loan Sharking Division, directed officers to arrest Thanaphat (19), Wanchai (28), Kittipong (44), and Rathaphoomi (19) on charges of operating an unlicensed personal lending business and charging interest rates exceeding legal limits.

The investigation began in early May when the Anti-Loan Sharking Center received complaints about an operation running through a Line application account called "Big Jack 777" that charged excessive interest and intimidated borrowers. Evidence collected at a townhouse in Bangkok's Min Buri district included 12 mobile phones, computers, tablets, 71 business cards, 17 loan agreement documents, and two motorcycle helmets.

Victims primarily discovered the loans through a Facebook page before contacting the Line account. Most borrowers were small business owners facing cash flow problems with limited access to formal lending. The approval process was simple—requiring no identity verification or guarantor—with cash delivered directly to borrowers' homes.

Interest rates started at 20% per 24 days, equating to 626% annually, but later increased to 3,000% per year. When borrowers couldn't pay, the gang sent intimidators wearing motorcycle helmets to write threatening messages on homes and workplaces, scattering flyers and shouting the borrower's name to create fear.

Investigators found the gang had approximately 50-60 borrowers with over 10 million baht in circulation. Officers recovered videos showing gang members training new recruits in debt collection tactics and distributing flyers throughout Min Buri and nearby areas at night. All four suspects confessed to the charges. Thanaphat handled client communications while the others distributed flyers and conducted debt collection. Police are pursuing the larger financial backers behind the operation.

ISTAF Sepaktakraw Rules Clarified: The 'Phu Tawan' Move Has Not Been a Foul for 14 Years

Thailand's men's sepaktakraw team withdrew from their World Cup match against Malaysia, protesting a foul call that experts confirm violates current ISTAF rules—line-stepping penalties were removed in 2012.

24 May Khaosod

Thailand's men's sepaktakraw team withdrew from their final match against Malaysia at the ISTAF Sepaktakraw World Cup 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, protesting what they considered unfair officiating by referee Muhammad Radi. The team disputed a foul call for stepping on the center line in the third set, claiming the current rules no longer penalize this action.

Sepaktakraw expert and page administrator 'Mor Khae Jae Takraw' has clarified the current ISTAF regulations: the 'Phu Tawan' move is not a line-stepping foul and has not been penalized for 14 years.

After reviewing the sepaktakraw rules on center line stepping from 2008-2009 through today, a significant rule change was identified in 2012. Previously, stepping on the center line was considered a foul except during follow-through movements after kicking or blocking. However, starting in 2012, the federation removed all references to line-stepping violations, and this change has remained in effect for approximately 14 years.

The original English rule stated: "Stepping on the center line … except during follow through after kicking or blocking." After 2012, this language was completely removed, meaning stepping on the line in such circumstances no longer constitutes a foul unless the player fully crosses the line or commits another violation.

The 'Phu Tawan' move in question was a repositioning step before kicking, where only a portion of the right foot touched the center line—not the full foot, just heel to toe. Under current rules, this clearly does not constitute a foul. Additionally, similar moves by the opposing player also resulted in line touching but were not whistled as fouls, raising questions about refereeing consistency.

In conclusion, according to rules in effect since 2012 through today, the disputed 'Phu Tawan' move absolutely does not constitute a center line-stepping foul.

The expert noted that all references were drawn from an interview with an ISTAF federation referee who requested anonymity (as of May 24, 2025).

Driving the 'Digital-Green-Silver' Economy and Strengthening SME Online Market Channels

Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Supachai Suthammapanthu held bilateral discussions with Chinese Deputy Prime Minister He Lifeng on May 23, 2025, during the APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade meeting in Suzhou, China.

Supachai stated that relations between the two countries continue to strengthen steadily. Last year marked the 50th anniversary of Thai-Chinese diplomatic relations, and was highlighted by an official state visit by the Thai King and Queen in November 2024. She expressed appreciation for President Xi Jinping and the Chinese people for their warm reception.

Thailand also praised China's latest national economic and social development plan, which emphasizes digital and green economy initiatives leading to high-quality development through technology and innovation in manufacturing advancement. This aligns with Thailand's development strategy aimed at increasing product value and strengthening national competitiveness.

Supachai presented a pilot project proposal for bilateral cooperation to elevate Thai products to 'high-quality' or 'premium' status for export to the Chinese market, benefiting both nations. Thailand's existing high-quality agricultural raw materials would be processed using Chinese technology and innovation to reach modern consumers in China and worldwide. Initial pilot product categories include functional foods and age-friendly products, aligning with China's Silver Economy focus. This co-creation approach would strengthen Thailand's food security foundation, particularly for agricultural products like fruits, while expanding to global markets.

Supachai also requested that Chinese investors in Thailand increase their use of local resources in production processes, promoting manufacturing and investment cooperation between the two countries while enabling export to global markets—a win-win solution. If successful, this pilot model could become a 'success model' for expanding to other products in the future.

Furthermore, she emphasized the importance of promoting SME roles and proposed enhanced standards and product inspection procedures. This would prevent negative impact from Chinese imports on Thai SMEs while enabling Thai SME products to access the Chinese market. Supachai requested Chinese Deputy PM's support in promoting trade channels for Thai SMEs through establishing a 'Thai National Pavilion' on major Chinese online platforms, enhancing Thai entrepreneurs' access to the Chinese market.

"Today's proposal to China addresses both countries' interests and represents true Win-Win cooperation," Supachai stated, noting that the Chinese Deputy PM agreed and both sides assigned working teams to advance the initiative.

24 May Khaosod

The Pollution Control Department has expressed gratitude to the Junk Traders Association for sending a letter of encouragement and support to its staff. The department acknowledges the critical role that secondhand goods traders play in helping solve Thailand's waste management problems and commits to supporting the association in elevating the profession toward environmental and circular economy standards.

The letter came in response to recent media reports alleging lack of transparency in the Pollution Control Department's operations. The Junk Traders Association clarified that over seven years of cooperation with the department, they have witnessed genuine commitment to grassroots environmental problem-solving and respect for the profession. The association praised the department's strong stance against opening import quotas for plastic waste into Thailand and noted that the department operates as an academic and developmental agency rather than an enforcement body, lacking jurisdiction over criminal cases and business licensing authority.

The association expressed agreement and support for the three-institution joint private sector committee's anti-corruption approach.
