VALORANT Wins The Most Popular Ongoing PC Game Award from AIS Esports
VALORANT won Thailand's Most Popular Ongoing PC Game award at the AIS Gaming Awards 2026, with professional player Primmie also claiming Best FPS Player, underscoring the game's dominant position in Thailand's competitive gaming scene.
Riot Games Thailand and VALORANT have claimed the 'The Most Popular Ongoing PC Game' award at the Thailand Social AIS Gaming Awards 2026, building on their previous year's success and solidifying VALORANT's status as one of Thailand's most-loved PC games on social media. The award reflects the unwavering support and strength of the Thai VALORANT community.
The Thailand Social AIS Gaming Awards 2026, organized by AIS in partnership with Wisesight, a social media analytics provider, recognizes brands, content creators, esports athletes, and key figures who have made outstanding contributions to Thailand's gaming and esports industries through their exceptional social media presence. The judging criteria, known as 'Social Metric for AIS Gaming by Wisesight,' combined Brand Social Metrics and Creator Social Metrics to evaluate gaming and esports performance across Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and TikTok throughout 2025.
Beyond the game's success, this year marks another milestone for Thailand's VALORANT community, as Primmie, a professional VALORANT player from Full Sense, won 'The Most Popular First Person Shooting Game Player,' reflecting his prominence as both a competitive player and a beloved figure among Thai gaming fans on social media.
Another highlight of the event was the appearance of HEART from the band BUS because of you i shine, who not only attended as an idol but also claimed the 'The Most Popular Male Game Celebrity' award. HEART is known as a dedicated VALORANT fan and has worked officially with Riot Games during the past year. His award win signals growing momentum for Thailand's VALORANT community.
The fact that both VALORANT and a professional player from a Thai team won major awards in the same year demonstrates the game's strong growth trajectory in Thailand across gaming, competitive play, and community dimensions.
Nophapat Boonratanwech, Market Community Lead for Thailand, stated: 'We are deeply honored and delighted that VALORANT has received The Most Popular Ongoing PC Game award once again this year. This award is particularly meaningful as it reflects the strength of Thailand's VALORANT community, which remains united, passionate, and continuously supportive. We are also incredibly proud to see Primmie from Full Sense win The Most Popular First Person Shooting Game Player award, demonstrating that the game, its players, and VALORANT's entire ecosystem in Thailand are growing strongly together. We extend our gratitude to all players, creators, fans, and community members who are essential to this journey, and we are committed to delivering the best experiences, events, and content as we continue to grow together.'
