Tragic Motorcycle Accident: Two Women Killed After Bike Crosses Lane Into Mercedes, Struck by Following Truck
Two women died after a motorcycle crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a Mercedes sedan near Sung Noen in Nakhon Ratchasima; a following truck struck both riders on the road.
On May 3, 2025, police from Sung Noen Station in Nakhon Ratchasima received reports of a fatal two-vehicle collision near a building materials shop in Mak Kluea Mai subdistrict. Officers found a Mercedes sedan (Bangkok plate ธอ-6923) and a ten-wheel truck (Pathum Thani plate 70-3096) with collision marks parked on the roadside, along with an overturned motorcycle (Lopburi plate 1กส-8338) and two bodies approximately 10 meters away.
The victims were identified as Thanya Chok, 20 years old, and a 17-year-old girl (name withheld). Investigation revealed the motorcycle operator was heading into Sung Noen district when the bike lost control, crossed the center median, and collided with a sedan driven by Manas heading toward Bangkok. Both riders were thrown onto the roadway.
Simultaneously, a ten-wheel truck following the sedan could not swerve or stop in time, running over both victims. The case requires further investigation before legal proceedings can be filed.
