Thai Fencing Association Advances Athlete Development – Prepares International Referees for Registration
The Thai Fencing Association held its annual meeting to review performance and advance athlete development, while preparing referees for international FIE registration. The organization also scheduled its TFF Super Series 2026 Stage 1 épée
The Thai Fencing Association held its 2568 annual general meeting at the Evergreen Room, Asia Airport Hotel in Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province, with Dr. Pochan Aramwattananond, president of the association, presiding. The meeting was attended by the association's executive committee, representatives from the Thailand Sports Authority, and over 31 member clubs to review the association's operational performance from the past year.
The meeting addressed strategic plans, budget proposals, vision, mission, and plans for developing fencing athletes toward excellence. The association also announced preparations to recruit fencing referees for examination and registration as international FIE fencing referees.
Following the 2568 annual general meeting, the Thai Fencing Association organized a family gathering for the fencing community to exchange ideas, address challenges closely, and strengthen relationships between the association's executive committee and member clubs.
Regarding fencing competitions organized by the Thai Fencing Association in May, the TFF Super Series 2026 Stage 1 event will feature individual men's and women's épée competitions on May 16-17, 2569 at the Thai National Fencing Training Center, Siam Paragon Rangsit, 5th Floor.
