Songsamai Ratchathewi Backs SEA Games Official Uniforms
Songsamai Ratchathewi has signed a four-year sponsorship deal worth 2.4 million baht to supply official uniforms and apparel for Southeast Asian Games officials across Malaysia and Singapore through 2029.
The Southeast Asian Games Federation has signed a four-year sponsorship agreement with Songsamai Ratchathewi 2525 Company to supply athletic uniforms and apparel for SEA Games officials, totaling 2.4 million baht, beginning with Malaysia's SEA Games and concluding at Singapore.
General Chaiyaphakdi Sirivatana, president of the Southeast Asian Games Federation, signed the agreement with Songsamai Ratchathewi 2525 Limited, represented by managing director Kalawat Gongruengkit, under contract number SEAGF Contract 1/2026. The four-year contract (2026-2029) supports SEA Games operations and competitions, ending after the 35th SEA Games in Singapore, at 600,000 baht annually for a total of 2.4 million baht.
Benefits include official SEAGF trademark usage to market athletic uniforms, shirts, and related products; public relations rights; advertising placement at both Malaysia's 34th and Singapore's 35th SEA Games venues; website publication rights; access to opening and closing ceremonies and competitions; and five accreditation cards per event. The sponsor must submit product samples and logo usage for SEAGF approval before production, with strict prohibitions on modifying trademarks, transferring rights without permission, or supporting competing products.
General Chaiyaphakdi explained that SEA Games officials previously lacked a primary uniform sponsor. Foreign officials viewing Thailand's uniforms expressed interest, leading to discussions with Songsamai, which has long supplied blazer uniforms for Thai athletes and Olympic officials. The company agreed, resulting in today's contract signing.
