A fatal car accident occurred on Taksin Road at 1:30 AM on May 15, 2025, when a black Mercedes-Benz E300 sports coupe crashed into the rear of a six-wheeled Isuzu truck with tremendous force. The driver of the Mercedes, 38-year-old Mr. Phurich (surname withheld), suffered severe injuries to the head and face and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Lieutenant Prithat Wibulyanan from Talat Phlu Police Station responded to the incident near Tha Phra intersection in Thonburi.
