On May 6, Deputy Superintendent Nusil Timsil of Muang Trang Police Station received a report of a shooting with a severely injured victim inside a shelter in a hilly area, Village 2, Ban Pho Subdistrict, Muang District, Trang Province. Shortly before the incident, Fon came to stay at the shelter. When the suspect learned of this, a heated argument erupted. He told Fon they were breaking up and demanded she leave the village. Days later, Fon returned to the shelter. When the suspect found out, he followed her up, leading to a confrontation where Fon attempted to stab him with a knife while the suspect drew a gun to threaten her before leaving the shelter.

A 60-year-old man identified as Mr. Charoen has been arrested by Bangkhae Police for fatally stabbing Mr. Sai, approximately 40 years old, near Baan Suan Bangkhae condominium on Phaholyothin Road 48 on May 5 at 8 p.m. A 20-centimeter pointed knife was seized as evidence.

During interrogation, Mr. Charoen claimed he was eating when the victim approached and verbally abused him without prior conflict between them. The victim then attacked him and kicked his face while he was lying on his back. In response, Mr. Charoen used the knife to stab the victim three times in the eye area, cheekbone, and chest, causing him to collapse. The suspect then fled to his residence and later turned himself in to police.

Concerned about her son's lack of justice, she released the video to media outlets, calling for the officers to be held accountable. She stated that without the footage, no one would have known what truly happened.

His 29-year-old sister, Suchitra, witnessed her brother covered in blood with an immobilized leg. Initially thinking he'd lost control while driving, she checked the CCTV footage and confirmed it was not an accident.
