Jealous Man Fatally Stabs Rival in Front of Wife Before Turning Himself In and Confessing

A 49-year-old man fatally stabbed his wife's lover at Takae Market in Samut Prakan on May 24 after a heated confrontation, then turned himself in to police and confessed.

2d ago Khaosod

On May 24, 2025, rescue services in Samut Prakan received an emergency call about an assault and battery incident at Takae Market near the Bang Poo Industrial Estate's northern entrance in Praek Sa Nai Subdistrict, Mueang District. First responders found a 39-year-old man identified as Mr. A with severe stab wounds to his left ribcage. Emergency personnel performed CPR and coordinated with Sikarin Hospital in Samut Prakan, but the victim died shortly after arrival.

Witnesses reported that before the incident, the suspect and victim had a heated phone argument and arranged to meet and settle their dispute. When they encountered each other on the street, a physical altercation erupted involving punching and wrestling. The victim was then stabbed and fell to the ground while a young woman close to him tried to intervene. The suspect kicked the victim again and fled the scene. Police initially focused on the infidelity angle and questioned the relevant woman, while also collecting video footage from residents to track down the perpetrator.

At 3:30 AM, 49-year-old Mr. Kan (surname withheld), the suspect, turned himself in to Bang Poo Police Station and sought medical treatment for his injuries from the physical fight. He confessed to being the victim's husband, having been married for over 26 years with three children together. He admitted to knowing about his wife's affair for a long time, carrying a knife regularly, and having previously been assaulted by the victim, losing four teeth in the process.

Investigators initially charged the suspect with "intentional murder" and "unlawfully carrying a knife in public without reasonable cause," with legal proceedings to follow.

There has never been a day when I forgot myself, never a day when I didn't try. I practice songwriting, I study music theory, I persevere, all to use my abilities to overshadow my appearance." He continued: "Some people comment with rude language just because my appearance isn't what they want. I don't get angry or respond because I chose this profession myself. I don't ask for much. If someone doesn't love or like my personality, that's okay. But please love my voice and my music. Thank you to those who love and support me." The post received overwhelming support from fellow artists including Luang Kai and other celebrities, with fans flooding the comments with encouragement and positive messages.

Pen Lak Maew, Famous TikTok Star, Announces Medical School Dropout; Fans Shocked and Confused

TikTok star Pen Lak Maew has temporarily dropped out of medical school at Khon Kaen University to focus full-time on her influencer career, citing rare opportunities and a childhood dream to pursue.

2d ago Khaosod

After much deliberation, Pen Lak Maew (Pen Panthita), a famous TikTok influencer, has announced her decision to temporarily drop out of her medical studies at Khon Kaen University. Sometimes life doesn't take us down all the paths we planned simultaneously.

In her statement, Pen explained: "Hello everyone. Today I want to address questions many people have about me. I'm speaking from my current feelings and understanding. If I've misunderstood anything or communicated incorrectly, I apologize in advance."

"Many people have asked about balancing medical school with my work as an influencer. I wanted time to organize my thoughts clearly first because I know many people follow me and younger people see me as inspiration. That's why I wanted to communicate this as carefully as possible."

"My faculty has advised me about the long-term appropriateness of certain work once I become a doctor, which I respect deeply because it's a profession society trusts."

"I then tried to be more careful with content creation and separated my studies from work as much as possible."

"After criticism about appropriateness, during this break I consulted with my family and decided to take a leave from studies to properly pursue influencer work."

Pen acknowledged that life doesn't always align with our plans: "I've had the chance to reflect that sometimes life doesn't take us down all paths simultaneously as planned. I realize being a doctor is a profession with high ethics and social responsibility, where words and actions affect many people's trust."

"This decision isn't because I think studying is unimportant, but because the opportunities and experiences coming into my life now are truly rare, and I want to fully pursue them while I have the chance."

Pen revealed her family is very concerned and that the decision wasn't easy: "My family is very worried about my future, and I've deliberated long because this isn't an easy decision. But what I know for sure is that I'm happy learning new things, meeting my team, meeting people, my fans, and pursuing a childhood dream."

"I especially don't want my faculty or clinic to be questioned or criticized for this. Throughout my time there, they've given me good advice and guidance, and my clinic has been fully cooperative and respectful of discussions with the faculty."

"Finally, thank you all for listening. I'm still someone learning and growing, making important life decisions step by step. I promise to do my best, and I'm grateful everyone continues to support me."

Fans were shocked and confused by the news, with comments expressing varied perspectives and concerns about what's happening.

Government Clarifies Medical Certificates for Migrant Workers Are Issued Legally

2d ago Khaosod

On May 24, 2025, Deputy Government Spokesperson Phatthadarasmi Tongsuaykon addressed allegations of unlicensed medical facilities illegally issuing health certificates to migrant workers, confirming that the government's procedures for issuing medical certificates to migrant workers comply with the law and are strictly overseen by state authorities. The Department of Employment, as the responsible agency, has established clear criteria, procedures, and verification systems in accordance with cabinet resolutions and relevant laws to prevent fraud, document forgery, and illegal employment. The Department of Employment has implemented strict screening systems requiring all foreign workers to undergo mandatory disease screening and obtain proper medical certificates from state or certified private hospitals only. All test results are automatically transmitted electronically to the Department of Employment to prevent document forgery at every stage. Currently, 63 certified private hospitals are properly linked to the system, with employers and the public able to verify the correct list at provincial employment offices or the Foreign Workers Administration website. The Department of Employment has established an active enforcement unit and a complaint center on the fourth floor to receive reports of fraudulent certificates and prosecute offenders immediately. The government warned employers and agents not to believe illegal schemes claiming to produce medical certificates without actual medical examinations, as the electronic system will detect fraud immediately and legal action will be taken against those using forged documents.

Not the First Time! Singapore Referee Radi Previously Caused Indonesia to Walk Out at 2017 SEA Games

Singapore referee Muhammad Radi faced a second walkout protest over controversial calls, this time from Thailand's sepaktakraw team at the 2026 World Cup, mirroring Indonesia's 2017 SEA Games withdrawal when his officiating allegedly favore

2d ago Khaosod

Thailand's sepaktakraw team requested a walkout in their final match against Malaysia at the ISTAF Sepaktakraw World Cup 2026 in Malaysia, citing multiple unfair calls by Singapore-based referee Muhammad Radi. A similar incident occurred on August 20, 2017, during the SEA Games in Malaysia, when Indonesia's women's sepaktakraw team also walked out of their final match against host nation Malaysia. Indonesia's team withdrew during the second set despite leading 16-10. Abdul Gani, assistant coach of Indonesia's sepaktakraw team, revealed that irregularities in the refereeing were apparent from the first set, with Indonesian players being repeatedly called for faults on serves. "From the first set, there were already signs. Every time our athletes tried to serve, the calls were constantly canceled," Gani said. He expressed dissatisfaction with the main referee Muhammad Radi's performance, questioning whether the match was rigged in favor of host nation Malaysia. "Our athletes were called for high kicks as fouls, but from my perspective, it was completely abnormal. It felt like something was set up for Malaysia to win," the Indonesian assistant coach stated. Ultimately, Malaysia's women's sepaktakraw team was declared the winner and claimed the gold medal.

Following social media speculation linking someone to a morning newsreader's dismissal, prominent newsreader Grung Grung Rangsima—who recently left Amarin TV—felt compelled to respond. She posted: "Suddenly content appeared saying 'Morning newsreader fired and dismissed.'" She shared complaints about an unnamed newsreader, alleging unprofessional behavior and lack of preparation.

Rangsima firmly denied being the subject of the rumors, stating: "I resigned voluntarily. As for the reason, I prefer to keep that private." She attached her resume to comments, saying: "In case anyone wants to check my background, here it is!" She emphasized repeatedly: "Whoever it is, it's definitely not me."

Rangsima also pushed back against the speculation, asking: "Can people refer to me as 'the newsreader who studied to be a doctor' or 'the female newsreader who hosted health programs enthusiastically' instead?" She had ended her role as a newsreader at Amarin TV in late April.

Time for a Life-Changing Turnaround! Mor Chang Reveals 2 Wealthy Zodiac Signs, Thursday-Born Individuals Gain Power, Warns Exhausted Signs

Renowned astrologer Mor Chang forecasts major life transformations starting May 31, 2026, when Jupiter enters rare exaltation coinciding with Visakha Bucha Day, particularly benefiting Cancer, Dragon, and Thursday-born individuals with unpr

2d ago Khaosod

Just days away! No matter how bad things are, it's time for a complete life transformation! Mor Chang reveals two zodiac signs set for prosperity—Number one sign and Thursday-born individuals will gain strength. One sign sees opportunities but not yet money—what should they do? Plus a warning for exhausted signs.

Jupiter's Movement: Unlike Anything Before This Jupiter transition occurring once every 12 years is extraordinary, and this time it's in major exaltation. Jupiter moves on May 31, 2026 in a way never seen before. Mor Chang Thosaporn presents her latest forecast, explaining: "Jupiter is the best planet and the life-changer. No matter how bad your life is, when Jupiter enters, you transform from bad to good. This time is different from the past 12 years and even the past century, because Jupiter moves in major exaltation coinciding with Visakha Bucha Day."

"Jupiter is already a teacher planet, a celestial guide. Its movement on Visakha Bucha, the most important Buddhist holy day, is special. Normally a month has one full moon, but this month happens to have two full moons. Western astrology calls the second full moon a 'Blue Moon'—a blue moon—which is particularly auspicious. The fact that Jupiter's movement coincides with Visakha Bucha is unprecedented."

"It's not just Cancer and Dragon signs that benefit. In birth day systems, Thursday-born individuals have Jupiter as their ruling planet. When Jupiter is in major exaltation, it empowers them—Thursday-born people become stronger with more life force."

Zodiac Signs Most Blessed by Jupiter's Transition

Cancer Your life transforms completely. Expect new jobs and new income sources. Wear yellow, gold, or brown colors and jewelry to enhance this energy.

Pisces Investment opportunities shine. Although Saturn remains strong, Jupiter as your ruling planet provides additional support to move forward with confidence.

Gemini After the planet change, you enter a phase of wealth and prosperity. Financial strength is powerful in both steady income and windfall luck. Beware of theft, robbery, and loss. Avoid taking the lead in work matters.

Virgo Like Pisces, you face Saturn's pressure, but Jupiter's transition brings support and helpers into your life. Financial stability improves. Problems that seemed unsolvable now find solutions.

Aries Mars placement may cause irritability, headaches, or illness in May. However, after Jupiter's transition, benefits flow to family, partnerships, and home matters.

Taurus Excel in negotiations, brokerage, diplomacy, and entering new social circles.

Libra Alongside Gemini, you emerge as another wealthy sign. After Jupiter's transition on May 31, 2026, your finances strengthen considerably. However, be careful this month as money leaks away. Long-term, over the next year, you'll experience financial abundance and career advancement.

Aquarius You see opportunities but money hasn't appeared yet. Make plans and investments now to discover success on new paths.

Signs Requiring Caution

Leo Jupiter's transition doesn't provide much illumination. Rahu remains until year-end. Rely on yourself first. Your regular job may face issues with authority figures and superiors. You'll have fewer helpers.

Libra Not bad, but facing demanding work. Jupiter directly affects your career—you'll carry heavy responsibilities. The exhaustion now will lead to advancement, emphasizing hard work over luck.

Sagittarius Jupiter is your ruling planet, along with Pisces, but Pisces benefits more because they share water element compatibility. You're a fire sign. While your future improves and Jupiter strengthens, finances won't be as smooth as Cancer and Gemini. Money flows and changes, work fluctuates and gets chaotic.

Dragon Besides Cancer being number one, Dragon also receives Jupiter's blessing.
