Thavee Dhamma Meditation Center, May 17, 2025 – The Charoen Pokphand Group and True Corporation PCL held an ordination ceremony for young monks in the "Young Monks Cultivating Wisdom Year 12" program, marking the conclusion of a beautiful four-week learning journey under the concept "Dhamma Land, Thai Land, Love, Learn, Persevere, Give with Awakened Hearts." The program aims to nurture all 12 young monks' inner growth through mindfulness, wisdom, and virtue by applying Buddhist teachings as a compass for life. Throughout the ordination period, the monks absorbed lessons in self-understanding, learned selfless giving, and developed mindful living aligned with the modern world under the compassionate guidance of Phra Phrombandit, the senior teacher. A highlight of the ordination ceremony was four young monks presenting Dhamma talks on "Mindfulness and Wisdom: Good Deeds Yield Good Results, Bad Deeds Yield Bad Results, Love for the Universe, Dhamma Land, Thai Land," sharing the wisdom gained from their monastic practice with the public.
Attending the occasion were Wichit Kitwirote, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima; Thanin Chearvanon, Senior President of Charoen Pokphand Group and Chairman of the Lay Supporters Division; Supachai Chearvanon, Senior Vice President of Charoen Pokphand Group and President of True Corporation PCL and program initiator; Dr. Achong Chumsai Na Ayutthaya and Dr. Worraphat Phu Charoen, Lay Supporters Advisors; as well as executives from both organizations including Dr. Ach Tao Lanon, Senior Vice President of Charoen Pokphand Group; Dr. Netrachonok Vibhatasil, Head of Corporate Sustainability and Program Director; and Ms. Mansinee Nakhapanan, Managing Director of Ascend Money Limited and program supporter, gathered at Thavee Dhamma Meditation Center (Rai Saengngam) in Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima.
This year, the program also received blessings from several esteemed Buddhist masters including Somdet Phra Maha Ratchamongkhon Muni, Supreme Patriarch and senior monks from major temples, who offered guidance to the young monks. After the program concludes, teachings from all these accomplished instructors will be compiled into one of the world's largest Dhamma repositories with content in Thai, English, and Chinese, accessible globally. This represents another achievement in elevating Dhamma learning to reach all age groups and genuinely touch people's hearts.
Over the past 12 years, the "Young Monks Cultivating Wisdom" program has ordained over 154 young monks and novice nuns, cultivating morally upright youth and continuously spreading Buddhist teachings to Thai society. The program aims to help participants grow into virtuous individuals with Dhamma as their foundation, capable of applying it in their lives and personal development. The initiative also expands Dhamma communication to wider audiences through contemporary content formats, particularly short videos on TikTok.
