The Huajai Borisuddhi Foundation presented educational scholarships to high-achieving youth in Chonburi and Chachoengsao, continuing to support educational dreams and improve the quality of life for Thai youth. On May 21, 2025, foundation chair Thierathat Nawamawat and Amnuay Chantaris, senior technical director representing the Yung Mee Rao Foundation, led a team to present scholarships to three youth recipients.

The scholarships were funded by Bye Lee Enterprises Co., Ltd. to help ease the financial burden of education and encourage students with excellent academic records to continue their studies and develop their potential. The foundation also distributed snacks and adult diapers to support the families of these youth recipients.

The first recipient received 6,000 baht: Fha Sirin Sriwisurin, a Grade 11 student at Surasak School in Surasak subdistrict, Sri Racha district, Chonburi Province.

The second recipient received 10,000 baht: Patcharintr Chaisri, an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan in Huay Kapi subdistrict, Muang district, Chonburi Province.

The final recipient received 6,000 baht: Phakin Panmani, a Grade 8 student at Wat Nong Jok Secondary School in Bung Nam Rak subdistrict, Bang Nam Priao district, Chachoengsao Province.

All three recipients are high-achieving students with excellent conduct, dedication to learning, gratitude, and commitment to nation, religion, and the monarchy. Despite financial constraints, they remain determined to continue their education and build a bright future for themselves and their families.

Thierathat stated that the Huajai Borisuddhi Foundation believes education is the foundation for improving quality of life and is crucial for building the future of Thai youth. The foundation reaffirms its commitment to continuing support for educational opportunities to inspire and assist youth in becoming important members of society.

A well-known pork hotpot restaurant owner in Lat Yai Subdistrict, Muang District, Kanchanaburi is seeking justice for his 20-year-old server who was sexually assaulted by a police officer (Ror Damnern) through unwanted touching. The incident occurred on the evening of May 19, 2025. Following the assault, the owner brought the victim to file a complaint at Lat Yai Police Station as evidence.

On May 21, 2025, restaurant owner Phanupong Taetvong and the victim, referred to as "Bee," met with investigators at Lat Yai Police Station to provide additional testimony. A deputy traffic superintendent from Muang Kanchanaburi Police Station—who is the superior of the accused officer—also attended, but the accused officer did not appear.

Phanupong stated that the officer who committed the assault did not show up to meet with the victim as he had expected. Only the deputy superintendent attended, and there was no attempt at reconciliation whatsoever, leaving him and the victim deeply disappointed.

Since the incident, the accused officer has never contacted the restaurant or the victim to apologize, demonstrating no remorse. As a result, Phanupong and the victim are prepared to pursue this case fully and hope that despite the perpetrator being a police officer, the police force will handle the investigation fairly and deliver complete justice to the victim.

A 40-year-old man known as "Bird" Nuanlap, a former army sergeant, used a kitchen knife to repeatedly stab his 66-year-old father, retired Police Colonel Cheerasak Nuanlap, on May 21 at their homes in Khao Chai Son district, Phatthalung province. The father was found with severe blood loss and multiple stab wounds, including a deep cut to the throat, and remains in critical condition at Phatthalung Hospital. Police apprehended the suspect at the scene, where investigators found large pools of blood in the kitchen and a trail of blood leading from the house.

During initial questioning, the suspect claimed the argument started when his father attacked him first with the kitchen knife during a dispute over transferring his name on the property registration. The son stated he needed to change his residency status to secure employment in Phuket. He alleged that during the struggle, he managed to wrestle the knife away and stabbed his father in retaliation. The suspect remained calm after arrest and expressed remorse over the incident.

The suspect told police that tensions at home had been high since his father's retirement in 2020, with frequent arguments and allegations that his father had physically abused his mother. Neighbors reported the son had previously served in the military but was discharged, and had recently returned to the family home after employment issues in Phuket. Some locals claimed he occasionally displayed erratic behavior and spoke to himself, and had recently been involved with narcotics.

Investigating Officer Second Lieutenant Pun Ruengyiang of Khao Chai Son Police Station announced charges of causing serious bodily harm to a parent. The case is being processed according to law, with the suspect remaining in custody pending further legal proceedings.

On May 21, 2569, officers from the Kamphaeng Phet City Police Station arrested a man named Cha (surname withheld), age 52, at his residence in Nai Muang Subdistrict, Kamphaeng Phet City. The arrest followed an informant tip that drug use was occurring at the location. When police arrived, they found Cha about to get into his personal vehicle. Upon seeing the officers, Cha showed obvious signs of panic and nervousness, and attempted to hide something in the car. Officers immediately identified themselves and requested to search the vehicle.

During initial questioning, Cha confessed to consuming one methamphetamine pill earlier that morning and admitted that the items he tried to conceal in the vehicle were methamphetamine. Officers conducted a thorough search of the car and discovered 14 methamphetamine pills in a clear plastic bag wrapped in tissue paper on the driver's seat. The pills were seized as evidence.

Further investigation and questioning of the suspect's relatives revealed a shocking discovery: Cha is actually a commissioned police officer with the rank of Lance Corporal (Dab Tamruat), serving as a sergeant major at a police station in Kamphaeng Phet City's Muang District.

The arresting officers transferred Cha and the evidence to Pol. Maj. Pracha Thabanchong, an investigator at Kamphaeng Phet City Police Station, for further legal proceedings.
