The Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) released a clarification on May 7, 2569, responding to Sandhya Swatdee's complaint to the Election Commission alleging that the party refused to fund campaign expenses. The party stated that political work is understood to be public volunteer work, requiring all candidates to make sacrifices and collectively communicate the party's ideology, policies, and platform to voters during election campaigns. PPRP emphasized that candidate support is provided according to law, party regulations, party resolutions, and the party's budgetary capacity and management capabilities at different times. The party can determine the form and level of support based on appropriateness within consistent criteria and administrative discretion. In past elections, the party supported campaigns through media coverage and various channels publicizing the party's achievements, policies, and political positions, benefiting all candidates equally. PPRP confirmed all actions comply strictly with election laws and party regulations, denying any discrimination or improper withholding of support. The party asserted that the allegations lack sufficient evidence or witnesses to substantiate claims of legal violations. PPRP urged the public to trust that it remains committed to the rule of law, transparency, and conducting political activities strictly within legal and democratic frameworks.
