A chicken rice vendor jumped for his life after a pickup truck carrying construction workers collided with a sedan before crashing into his shop, destroying goods and merchandise.

On April 27, 2025, Police Lieutenant Saiyan Phupannana from Phra Samut Chedi Police Station received a report of an accident involving a pickup truck colliding with a sedan before striking a chicken rice shop, causing severe damage near Wat Lam Fa Pa intersection in Nai Khlong Bang Pla Kod Subdistrict, Phra Samut Chedi District, Samut Prakan Province. Officers and Ruam Katanyu Foundation staff proceeded to investigate.

The accident occurred on Soi Wat Lam Fa Pa, a four-lane road with opposing traffic. At the intersection leading away from the soi, a green Suzuki sedan was found extensively damaged along the right side from the rear door to the front door near the chicken rice shop entrance.

A black Isuzu D-Max pickup truck was found crashed against a water dispenser and a chicken rice cart, severely damaged. Bowls, plates, dishes, and utensils were scattered across the ground. Fortunately, no one was injured or killed.

Warin Simsee, 54, the shop owner, recounted that his shop normally opens at 6 a.m. daily, but was closed that day due to exhaustion from Songkran festivities. PHUKET — 26 April 2026, A foreign man caused a disturbance at a shabu restaurant in Patong, prompting police to intervene after a confrontation with the shop manager, according to a video that went viral on social media.

A post by Facebook user Sirinthip Phoosuwan shows an incident inside a mala shabu restaurant in Patong subdistrict, Kathu district. A man wearing a black shirt was seen walking in and out of the premises several times before allegedly harassing and assaulting people inside.

According to the post and witness accounts, a man in a white shirt, believed to be the restaurant manager, attempted to intervene and slapped the suspect, who then shouted loudly, alarming customers and staff. The restaurant contacted Patong police, who arrived at the scene and took the man into custody to calm him down at the police station.

The poster said the man initially approached a nearby table asking "Open?" before repeatedly entering and leaving the restaurant, raising suspicion. At one point, he allegedly attacked the man in white, believed to be the manager, leading to the escalation captured in the video.

The poster added that they did not witness the entire incident clearly, as they were watching a film at the time and only observed parts of the incident. Some moments were captured only in audio, particularly when police questioned those present and details of the incident were recounted.
