In the women's singles, former runner-up Pornpawee Chochuwong (world No. 8) defeated Jatavee Ketkleang 21-13, 21-17 and will face Pichayamol Omnasphatthanakul (world No. 27), who defeated India's Davika Sihag 23-21, 21-11. Meanwhile, Busanan Ungsrichaphan (world No. 18) was eliminated after losing to Japan's Akane Yamaguchi (world No. 3) 21-12, 17-21, 17-21.
