Labor Minister Confirms September 27 Election Date for Social Security Board; Registration Opens June 1-July 15
Elections for the Social Security Board will be held September 27, 2026, with voter and candidate registration opening June 1 through July 15, 2025 via the SSO website, app, or provincial offices.
The Labor Minister has confirmed that elections for employer and employee representatives on the Social Security Board will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026. To encourage maximum public participation, the committee has extended the registration period to 45 days and will establish voting units at the district level, expanding from the previous province-level system. Registration for voting rights is open from June 1 to July 15, 2025, through three channels: the website www.sso.go.th (24 hours), the SSO Plus application for insured persons (24 hours), and provincial Social Security offices. Candidate registration for board representative positions is available from July 1-15, 2025. Office hours are 8:30 AM-4:30 PM on weekdays during June, with no closures during July 1-15. The list of eligible voters will be announced on August 10, 2025, and candidate names with identification numbers on August 19, 2025.
