Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers has cast doubt on his £130 million valuation despite strong performances that have attracted Arsenal's interest, saying he remains focused on developing his game rather than transfer speculation.
Morgan Rogers, England's midfielder competing in the 2026 World Cup, has acknowledged doubts about whether he truly merits a £130 million price tag circulating in recent transfer rumors, even as his form at Aston Villa remains strong.
Currently playing for Premier League side Aston Villa, Rogers has attracted interest from Arsenal, the reigning season champions. However, given his excellent recent performances and long-term contract, Arsenal could face a substantial fee to secure his signing.
Rogers stated: "I'm not certain I'm worth that kind of money. Of course, it feels good hearing that from other people, but I won't let rumors influence me. I'll stay focused, be myself, and continue working to develop my game."
The 23-year-old joined Villa in 2024 before quickly establishing himself as a key player and contributing to the team's UEFA Europa League championship last season. In the current World Cup campaign, he has made three appearances.
