2d ago Khaosod

Following social media speculation linking someone to a morning newsreader's dismissal, prominent newsreader Grung Grung Rangsima—who recently left Amarin TV—felt compelled to respond. She posted: "Suddenly content appeared saying 'Morning newsreader fired and dismissed.'" She shared complaints about an unnamed newsreader, alleging unprofessional behavior and lack of preparation.

Rangsima firmly denied being the subject of the rumors, stating: "I resigned voluntarily. As for the reason, I prefer to keep that private." She attached her resume to comments, saying: "In case anyone wants to check my background, here it is!" She emphasized repeatedly: "Whoever it is, it's definitely not me."

Rangsima also pushed back against the speculation, asking: "Can people refer to me as 'the newsreader who studied to be a doctor' or 'the female newsreader who hosted health programs enthusiastically' instead?" She had ended her role as a newsreader at Amarin TV in late April.

Time for a Life-Changing Turnaround! Mor Chang Reveals 2 Wealthy Zodiac Signs, Thursday-Born Individuals Gain Power, Warns Exhausted Signs

Renowned astrologer Mor Chang forecasts major life transformations starting May 31, 2026, when Jupiter enters rare exaltation coinciding with Visakha Bucha Day, particularly benefiting Cancer, Dragon, and Thursday-born individuals with unpr

2d ago Khaosod

Just days away! No matter how bad things are, it's time for a complete life transformation! Mor Chang reveals two zodiac signs set for prosperity—Number one sign and Thursday-born individuals will gain strength. One sign sees opportunities but not yet money—what should they do? Plus a warning for exhausted signs.

Jupiter's Movement: Unlike Anything Before This Jupiter transition occurring once every 12 years is extraordinary, and this time it's in major exaltation. Jupiter moves on May 31, 2026 in a way never seen before. Mor Chang Thosaporn presents her latest forecast, explaining: "Jupiter is the best planet and the life-changer. No matter how bad your life is, when Jupiter enters, you transform from bad to good. This time is different from the past 12 years and even the past century, because Jupiter moves in major exaltation coinciding with Visakha Bucha Day."

"Jupiter is already a teacher planet, a celestial guide. Its movement on Visakha Bucha, the most important Buddhist holy day, is special. Normally a month has one full moon, but this month happens to have two full moons. Western astrology calls the second full moon a 'Blue Moon'—a blue moon—which is particularly auspicious. The fact that Jupiter's movement coincides with Visakha Bucha is unprecedented."

"It's not just Cancer and Dragon signs that benefit. In birth day systems, Thursday-born individuals have Jupiter as their ruling planet. When Jupiter is in major exaltation, it empowers them—Thursday-born people become stronger with more life force."

Zodiac Signs Most Blessed by Jupiter's Transition

Cancer Your life transforms completely. Expect new jobs and new income sources. Wear yellow, gold, or brown colors and jewelry to enhance this energy.

Pisces Investment opportunities shine. Although Saturn remains strong, Jupiter as your ruling planet provides additional support to move forward with confidence.

Gemini After the planet change, you enter a phase of wealth and prosperity. Financial strength is powerful in both steady income and windfall luck. Beware of theft, robbery, and loss. Avoid taking the lead in work matters.

Virgo Like Pisces, you face Saturn's pressure, but Jupiter's transition brings support and helpers into your life. Financial stability improves. Problems that seemed unsolvable now find solutions.

Aries Mars placement may cause irritability, headaches, or illness in May. However, after Jupiter's transition, benefits flow to family, partnerships, and home matters.

Taurus Excel in negotiations, brokerage, diplomacy, and entering new social circles.

Libra Alongside Gemini, you emerge as another wealthy sign. After Jupiter's transition on May 31, 2026, your finances strengthen considerably. However, be careful this month as money leaks away. Long-term, over the next year, you'll experience financial abundance and career advancement.

Aquarius You see opportunities but money hasn't appeared yet. Make plans and investments now to discover success on new paths.

Signs Requiring Caution

Leo Jupiter's transition doesn't provide much illumination. Rahu remains until year-end. Rely on yourself first. Your regular job may face issues with authority figures and superiors. You'll have fewer helpers.

Libra Not bad, but facing demanding work. Jupiter directly affects your career—you'll carry heavy responsibilities. The exhaustion now will lead to advancement, emphasizing hard work over luck.

Sagittarius Jupiter is your ruling planet, along with Pisces, but Pisces benefits more because they share water element compatibility. You're a fire sign. While your future improves and Jupiter strengthens, finances won't be as smooth as Cancer and Gemini. Money flows and changes, work fluctuates and gets chaotic.

Dragon Besides Cancer being number one, Dragon also receives Jupiter's blessing.

Double Champions! Kane's Hat-trick Leads Bayern Munich to Demolish Stuttgart, Clinch DFB-Pokal

Harry Kane's hat-trick powered Bayern Munich to a 3-0 demolition of Stuttgart in the DFB-Pokal final, securing the club's first domestic double in six years.

3d ago Khaosod

Bayern Munich concluded the season as double champions following a dominant hat-trick display by Harry Kane that saw them trounce Stuttgart to claim the DFB-Pokal title for the first time in six years.

The German DFB-Pokal final on May 23 pitted Bayern Munich against Stuttgart at Berlin's Olympiastadion. Bayern struck first in the 55th minute when Joshua Kimmich's free-kick found Michael Olise on the right wing, who cut inside and crossed to Kane, who headed in to give Bayern a 1-0 lead.

In the 80th minute, Kane's long-range shot hit the crossbar but Bayern retained possession. The ball came back to Kane, who passed to the left side of the box for Luis Diaz. Diaz seized the moment and sent a cross back for Kane, who evaded defenders brilliantly and fired in a superb finish to extend Bayern's lead to 2-0.

In the 90+1st minute, Olise's cross into the box struck the arm of Angelo Stiller, prompting referee to award a penalty. Kane stepped up and converted without hesitation to complete his hat-trick and seal Bayern's dominant 3-0 victory.

This marked Bayern's 21st DFB-Pokal title and their first in six years since the 2019-20 season. With this triumph, Bayern completed the domestic double after having previously won the Bundesliga.

Plot Twist! Real Victim Emerges, Denies Police Used Black Bags and M16s for Extortion

The real victim in a disputed police extortion case has emerged, denying allegations that Srisaketat officers used black bags and M16 rifles, and accusing the complainants of fabricating details to avoid repaying 345,000 baht owed from a ve

3d ago Khaosod

Plot twist in the Srisakeat police case! The actual victim has surfaced, insisting that Srisaketat police investigators did not use 'black bags' or M16 rifles for extortion and claiming the other party has distorted the facts. The deputy superintendent clarifies that all procedures followed legal protocols.

The case began when Sgt. Kings Tangtim brought a used car salesman to file a complaint with the Crime Suppression Division, claiming he was robbed and threatened by individuals posing as Mueang Srisaketat police investigators. He alleged they pointed M16s at him and his associates, handcuffed him, and threatened to use black bags while demanding money.

On May 23, 2025, a 38-year-old woman (pseudonym Nang Nee) revealed to reporters that she is actually the victim of the group that filed the complaint. Her story began on May 7 when she purchased a Toyota Revo pickup truck from this group for 345,000 baht. After completing the purchase, she drove the truck toward Bangkok. Within 5 kilometers of the sale location, a group in a sedan followed her, flashing lights and signaling her to stop, claiming she had rear-ended them. Feeling unsafe in the dark area, she drove to a gas station in Ban Piang Nam, Nong Phai subdistrict, Mueang district, Srisaketat province, where the group forcibly took the vehicle and fled with her belongings still inside.

On May 13, the group resold the truck to an acquaintance. Nang Nee contacted police, who arranged a sting operation leading to arrests. During mediation at Mueang Srisaketat station, she initially demanded 500,000 baht in compensation, which was negotiated down to 345,000 baht—the original purchase price. She received 100,000 baht that day and requested another 50,000 baht the next day, with the remainder to follow. However, the group paid only 100,000 baht before disappearing and subsequently filed the complaint with the Crime Suppression Division.

Nang Nee stated that she was present throughout the investigation room proceedings and the police investigators never exhibited the threatening behavior described in their complaint. She emphasized that the group's allegations about police using black bags and extorting hundreds of thousands of baht are completely false and distorted. She praised the police for treating her well, providing food and accommodation, and handling both her and the suspects fairly without any aggressive conduct.

Nang Nee said she simply wants the 345,000 baht returned from those responsible and warned others buying used cars to examine details carefully, avoid nighttime transactions, and immediately contact police if anything seems suspicious.

She expressed that the complaint filed with the Crime Suppression Division reads like a movie plot with fabricated details. However, she is prepared to visit the Crime Suppression Division if needed to confirm the truth and demonstrate her integrity regarding this matter, and is ready to proceed through legal channels.

Deputy Superintendent Pol. Lt. Col. Sarawut Kamnoi from Mueang Srisaketat Police Station stated that regarding media reports concerning police conduct, all officers' duties strictly adhere to legal principles and respect for human rights.

Celebrating Ordination Day Drunk! Intoxicated Monk Enters Popular Shabu Restaurant, Heads to Bar, Then Challenges Police to Fight

A 60-year-old monk from Nong Bua Lamphu was arrested in Udon Thani after becoming heavily intoxicated, attempting to enter a bar, and attacking police officers. He was defrocked and charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

3d ago Khaosod

At 8 PM on May 23, 2569, Deputy Superintendent Sataporn Sawatdee of Muang Udon Thani Police Station received a report of an intoxicated monk behaving disruptively and attempting to enter a popular shabu-shabu buffet restaurant and a liquor bar behind a shopping mall on Thong Yai Road in Udon Thani Municipality, about 300 meters from Udon Thani Railway Station. Police Unit 191 rushed to the scene.

When officers arrived, shopping mall security had already seated the monk on the ground near the bar entrance. He was wearing only a simple robe and lower garment with flip-flops, showing severe signs of intoxication. He staggered, spoke incoherently, reeked of alcohol, and shouted while cursing onlookers. He claimed he had drunk clear whisky and could drink wherever he wanted because it wasn't unconstitutional—arguing that politicians who created the constitution were the real violators.

Police found his monk's certificate and ID card, identifying him as Phra Somr Kusomo (Dhammayut sect), also known as Mr. Somr, 60 years old, a temple-ordained monk from Wat Pa Lailai in Nong Bua Lamphu Province. He had been ordained for 20 years since age 40. When questioned, he remained heavily intoxicated and angry at being checked, insulting reporters as ignorant of the constitution and challenging two police officers to fight.

Police transported him by pickup truck to collect his belongings from Udon Thani Railway Station. As they attempted to take him to the temple, he tried jumping from the moving vehicle. When police stopped to restrain him, he grabbed an officer's baton and attempted to strike them, leading to a struggle before he was handcuffed to the truck bed amid public shock.

Police then took Somr to Wat Bodhi Samphon, a royal temple in Udon Thani Province, for immediate defrocking. Venerable Sutthipaññavat, deputy provincial sangha leader, conducted the disrobing ceremony and removed his yellow robes. Afterward, he remained intoxicated and disoriented, unable to recall where he was or came from, but admitted to Venerable Sutthipaññavat that he drinks regularly whenever possible, claiming it relieves arm tightness.

After Somr changed into white civilian clothes, police invited him to the station, but he refused, saying he wanted to rest at the temple. However, officers escorted him out of the provincial sangha leader's quarters. He then argued with police again, claiming he was being forced to leave and threatened to punch an officer. Police took him into custody and filed charges for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Sawon, 55, the shopping mall security guard, revealed that he first saw the monk arriving by tuk-tuk at the railway station entrance, then saw him emerge later in severe intoxication reeking of alcohol. The monk initially asked Sawon if he had seen his mother, and when told no, he attempted to enter the shopping mall.

Thai Sepaktakraw Chief Slams Referees: 'They Can Have the Championship' – Threatens to Withdraw National Team

Thailand's sepaktakraw federation chief accused referees of bias after the defending champion men's team was disqualified from the World Cup semifinal in Malaysia, threatening to withdraw from future competitions if refereeing standards don

3d ago Khaosod

At the ISTAF Sepaktakraw World Cup 2026 in Malaysia on May 23, 2026, Thailand's defending champion men's team faced Malaysia in a semifinal match that became heated in the third deciding set after the teams were tied 1-1. With Thailand trailing 1-0 in sets and leading 14-13 late in the second set, Thai players attempted a finishing move, but Singaporean referee Radee ruled that Thailand had stepped out of bounds. The Thai team protested by refusing to continue playing, with the coaching staff demanding the point be reinstated and the referee be changed, or they would forfeit the match. After time ran out, Thailand was penalized with a forfeit loss.

After the match, Thana Chaiyaprasit, president of the Thai Sepaktakraw Association (known as 'Big Tom'), alleged that the International Federation had intentionally assigned Radee to officiate and that the refereeing was blatantly unfair, with at least three questionable calls. He stated the team decided to let Malaysia take the trophy rather than continue under these conditions, noting that filing protests would be futile since the Federation appeared to have predetermined the outcome. He criticized that lower-line judges repeatedly awarded points to Thailand, only for Radee to overrule them with replay decisions.

"Going forward, we need to reconsider our participation," Chaiyaprasit said. "If this continues, we may not send our full national team to future competitions. Instead, we might send our youth team to gain experience."

Singapore Referee Radi's Controversial Calls Lead Thai Sepaktakraw Team to Protest and Withdraw from Finals

Thailand withdrew from the ISTAF Sepaktakraw World Cup final in Malaysia after a controversial call by Singapore referee Radi denied what appeared to be a winning spike at a crucial moment in the deciding match against hosts Malaysia.

3d ago Khaosod

In the ISTAF Sepaktakraw World Cup 2026 men's team final at Titiwangsa Stadium in Malaysia on May 23, 2026, defending champion Thailand faced off against Malaysia. Thailand had comfortably defeated South Korea 2-0 in the semifinals, while Malaysia beat Indonesia 2-0, with a packed home crowd supporting the hosts.

In the first match, Thai Team A featuring Phontep Thinsaibanbon, Marukindorn Phanmakorn, and Jirasak Phakbua lost to Malaysia 1-2 sets (9-15, 15-13, 12-15). Thai Team B, composed of Ratsanaphong Nonthakorot, Wuthianan Kamsenah, and Thanapol Satyuen, bounced back with a 2-0 victory (15-6, 15-13) to tie the series 1-1, forcing a decisive third match.

In the final match, Thai Team C fielded Chakkarit Thinsaibanbon, Wichai Temkorot, and Phutawan Sophaa. With Thailand trailing 1-0 and leading 14-13 in the second set, referee Radi from Singapore made a controversial line-crossing call against Thailand at a critical moment, denying what appeared to be a winning spike. Thailand protested the decision and refused to continue playing, demanding either the point be awarded back or the referee be replaced. The Thai team ultimately forfeited the match due to the team staff's refusal to continue under these conditions. Reports indicate the Thai Sepaktakraw Association plans to file an official protest.
