Pheu Thai Fires Back at Paradorn: If You're Truly Grateful to the Orange Party, Do This—Otherwise, Stop Pretending
Pheu Thai deputy spokesman Kruepol accused coalition partner Bhumjaithai of ingratitude, challenging them to prove loyalty by supporting constitutional reforms on independent agencies and Senate powers rather than just paying lip service to
On May 26, Kruepol Tiensuwanon, an MP on Pheu Thai's party list and deputy spokesman, posted on Facebook criticizing Prime Minister's Office Minister Paradorn Parisunanondkul and Ang Thong MP from Bhumjaithai Party. Paradorn had claimed there is no "Blue system," only a Blue Party that grew from the Orange Party.
Kruepol accused those who benefited from Orange Party support of showing no gratitude and never reciprocating. He alleged they made false promises, claiming to follow the Memorandum of Agreement but failing to follow through on constitutional reforms that would return power to the people and restructure independent agencies.
Kruepol acknowledged that Pheu Thai's decision to work with the Blue Party for constitutional reform and prevent political deadlock leading to a coup will haunt them forever and contributed to the Blue faction's growth. However, he said this won't make them surrender but rather motivates them to expose how power is monopolized, money is used to seize authority, and wealth is extracted from people's tax contributions.
Kruepol challenged the minister: if you truly believe the Orange Party gave you power that you couldn't have achieved alone, show gratitude by supporting constitutional amendments on independent agency powers, Senate powers, and people's oversight mechanisms. He concluded sarcastically: "If you can't do something this simple, stop pretending to be grateful to the Orange Party three times a day. It's embarrassing rather than honorable."
