VICTOR Partners with Thai Badminton Association for Four Years to Support National Team, Hosting Two Major Championships
Sporting goods giant VICTOR has signed a four-year deal with Thailand's badminton association starting 2026 to supply equipment and sponsor the national team and major tournaments including the Thailand Open and Thailand Masters.
VICTOR and the Badminton Association of Thailand have announced an official four-year partnership from 2026 to 2030. VICTOR will serve as the official partner and equipment sponsor for the association and the Thai national badminton team, supporting major international tournaments and domestic competitions including the Thailand Open (Super 500) and Thailand Masters (Super 300).
Under this partnership, VICTOR will provide modern technology and professional-grade equipment to enhance overall competition standards and support athletes' performance. This comprehensive support reflects VICTOR's commitment to developing competitive environments across all levels of badminton and strengthening Thai athletes' capacity to compete at the highest international level.
Founded in 1968, VICTOR is a leading badminton brand and official partner of both the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Asia. In Thailand, VICTOR has worked closely with clubs and competitions and is committed to long-term badminton development.
Air Chief Marshal Montol Suchoke, president of the Badminton Association of Thailand, expressed confidence in the partnership: "This collaboration with VICTOR represents a crucial step in advancing Thai badminton to the world stage by combining the association's long-term athlete development expertise with VICTOR's global expertise. We are setting new standards in performance, professionalism, and competitive excellence. We are confident this partnership will not only prepare Thai athletes for the highest international competition but also elevate Thailand's status as a leader in world badminton."
Victor Chairman Jeff Chen stated: "It is an honor to be selected as a partner of the Badminton Association of Thailand. Thailand has emerged as a major player with significant influence in world badminton. We look forward to working closely together to elevate both competitions and Thai athletes toward even greater success."
The partnership officially begins on May 1st, with the upcoming Thailand Open being the first tournament under the new agreement, where VICTOR will serve as the primary sponsor and official equipment provider.
Additionally, the Badminton Association of Thailand has supported the development of synthetic shuttlecocks, recently approved by the BWF for Grade 3 and youth competitions. The Phuket International Challenge 2026, scheduled for June 9-14, will be the first international professional badminton tournament to officially use VICTOR's NCS MAX synthetic shuttlecock, marking another significant milestone for the badminton sports industry.
