The Thai Fencing Association held its 2568 annual general meeting at the Evergreen Room, Asia Airport Hotel in Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province, with Dr. Pochan Aramwattananond, president of the association, presiding. A tragic shooting incident has left a family devastated after Phibhasara, a 44-year-old teacher who had only been teaching for four years at Wat Sukuntharama School in Ayutthaya, was shot and killed by 35-year-old Saravut (surname withheld) following a motorcycle crash. Saravut became deranged and fired a gun at vehicles and civilians along Phra Ya Ban Lue Canal Road, resulting in one death and one injury. According to her younger brother Thanakorn, Phibhasara was traveling with family members and her two children when she received a call that she had been shot. A dangerous viral challenge circulating on Chinese social media involves sitting down and tightly wrapping both legs around an electric pole, then attempting to escape without assistance.
