Prince of Songkhla University has officially published the university announcement regarding the designation of campuses and establishment of divisions (Version 4, B.E. 2569) in the Royal Gazette to establish a new division called the "Advanced Institute for Sustainable Healthcare Systems of Prince of Songkhla University." The institute's primary mission is to integrate knowledge, resources, and collaborative networks to elevate healthcare service standards and promote equitable access to care. Under this new institute, the main operational unit is the "Andaman Health Center of Prince of Songkhla University," located at the Phuket campus. It comprises seven sub-units ready to execute their full missions: 1. Central Administration Office; 2. College of Health; 3. Songkhla Phuket Digital Dentistry Center; 4. Songkhla Phuket Medical Technology Service Center; 5. Songkhla Phuket Thai Traditional Medicine Hospital; 6. Songkhla Phuket General Hospital; 7. Songkhla Phuket Kasem Cheewawasuk Wellness Center. Deputy Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thongchumnuam outlined the institute's vision, stating it will drive sustainable health innovation in the Andaman region by integrating research, education, and community impact.
