Fascination with Vayu: Freen and Becky's Forbidden Chemistry Against a Royal Rebellion
This Thai romantic action drama follows a police officer who falls in love with a visiting foreign princess while assigned to protect her, only to discover a conspiracy to assassinate her and replace her with an impostor to stage a coup. As the couple navigates betrayal, danger, and forbidden love, they must uncover the conspirators and survive a web of treachery orchestrated from within the highest ranks of power.
Princess Catherine, nicknamed Princess Blue (Becky Rebecca), is the heir to the throne of Madeline who visits Thailand for diplomatic relations. Recently appointed as first in line to succession because her father King Arthur de Lena (Peter Thaunstrup) plans to abdicate soon, her arrival prompts police officer Vayu Watingun, or "Lom" (Freen Sarocha), to be assigned by his father—Police Chief General Watit Watingun (Wanchana Sawatdi)—to protect the princess. Lom falls instantly in love with Princess Blue, but knows their romance is impossible. However, fate brings them closer when Lom accidentally saves her from assassination. Lom discovers that the princess was targeted by her lady-in-waiting Grace (Renée Veronica Pagano) and royal bodyguard Henri (Kim Thisithan Goodbern), who plan to kill her and replace her with Helena (Becky Rebecca), surgically altered to look identical to the princess, to orchestrate a coup. The plan fails when Lom rescues the injured princess and hides her at his safe house, pledging his full protection. When Lom realizes there are conspirators within the police force, he and the princess escape to a farm in Chiang Rai belonging to his cousin Din (Apple Laphisara) and Rose (Mim Panditta), with help from journalist Fah (Thantipha Taveesinthun) to uncover the truth about Madeline. Grace flees to Japan but orders the elimination of both Lom and Princess Blue. The drama unfolds as the couple navigates danger and deception in the series "Fascination with Vayu," part of the "4 Elements: Watingun House" series, airing every Saturday at 8:30 PM.
