Iklas Unfazed by Big Stage Opportunity, Ready to Fight for Starting Spot with Thailand National Team
PT Prachuap FC forward Iklas Sanhorn expressed confidence in competing for a starting spot after earning a call-up to Thailand's senior national team for June FIFA window matches against Kuwait and China.
Iklas Sanhorn has confirmed he is fully prepared to compete fiercely and fears nothing after earning another call-up to Thailand's senior national team for the June FIFA window fixtures against Kuwait and China. The PT Prachuap FC forward has been regularly featuring for his club in the 2025-26 season and has consistently been named in Thailand's senior squad under coach Anthony Hudson.
Iklas stated: "I'm happy and excited every time I'm called up to the senior national team. My goal is focused on training first, because I'll try my hardest to earn a starting spot and compete during our training sessions."
"The tactics are intense, training is intense, we compete during practice, and it's fun," he continued. "The senior players give us guidance. Right now my body is at 100% with no injuries. I haven't played much against other national teams, but I have to fight for myself. I'm not really scared. I want to thank all Thai fans for supporting us and also the Thai players called up this time."
Thailand's warm-up matches in June consist of two fixtures: June 5 at 7:30 PM against Kuwait (ranked 134th globally) at True BG Stadium, with tickets available at https://bit.ly/3R8o5bn, followed by a match against China on June 9 at Huanglong Sports Center, broadcast on Channel 32.
