Veterans Organization Director Presents Morale Gifts to 554 War Veteran Families, Reaffirms Commitment to Support and Quality of Life Development
The War Veterans Organization distributed gifts to 554 veteran families in Mukdahan Province, reaffirming its commitment to comprehensive welfare support across housing, farming, medical care, and occupational development.
On April 29, 2025, General Kan Nart Nikryanont, Director of the War Veterans Organization, accompanied by Chittanan Nikryanont, Chairwoman of the War Veterans Organization's Women's Association, visited Mukdahan Province at the 50-Year Anniversary Building of the Rural Education Promotion Association under Royal Patronage at Somdet Phra Sri Nakharintra Bormratchachonni 84th Anniversary School in Waan Yai District. The delegation presented gifts and morale support to 554 families from the Nakhon Phanom War Veterans Agricultural Community.
General Kan Nart stated that the War Veterans Organization remains steadfast in providing comprehensive care and welfare benefits covering six key areas, ensuring that military personnel and their families enjoy stable, dignified living standards while honoring those who sacrificed to protect the nation's independence and security.
Representative Phu Thong Sukhdi, speaking on behalf of the Nakhon Phanom community members, expressed gratitude for the organization's continuous support in housing, land for farming, welfare benefits, occupational development, credit facilities, and medical care. He noted that this field visit demonstrates the nation's commitment to never abandoning those who served the country.
During the event, community members showcased local products including plastic-woven baskets from Tha Uthai District known for their durability and bright colors, as well as handstitched clothing from the Waan Yai District Learning Promotion Center, featuring the distinctive local "dok wan" flower embroidery pattern reflecting Thai wisdom under the OTOP initiative.
The War Veterans Organization continues to promote occupational development by supporting product development and marketing channels to increase income and improve the quality of life for veterans and their families. The director also received briefings on the community's operations, challenges, and needs to further develop support strategies for maximum benefit.
