Suspected Container Found In Pond Murder Case
Police recovered a suspected container from a 300-meter pond in Nonthaburi after a months-long search for a 39-year-old man whose body was allegedly dumped there by suspects now facing expanded manhunts.
On July 1, 2569, authorities reported progress in the case of 39-year-old Uthen (surname withheld), who vanished under mysterious circumstances months ago. Police investigations revealed he was murdered, with his body allegedly stuffed into a cement-weighted container and submerged in a large pond spanning over 300 meters across in Moo 11, Tambon Bang Bua Thong, Amphoe Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi Province.
Recently, the Chachoengsao Charity Relief Association, one of the rescue teams conducting the search, discovered a blue plastic container submerged beneath the water's surface in the pond, which reaches depths of 25-30 meters. Today, a planning meeting was scheduled with Bang Bua Thong Police, provincial police, and forensic officers to retrieve and examine the container. This discovery comes after more than five days of intensive search operations.
Related case updates include statements from "Bird," one of the suspects in the murder and container disposal, who revealed disturbing details about the incident and alleged shooting during sleep, prompting expanded manhunts for those involved.
