He underscored that accelerating Thai-EU FTA negotiations will be the key to attracting investment, technology, and quality business to Thailand. Deputy PM Ekaní added that Thailand's critical strengths in the eyes of global investors are economic and political stability amid global volatility, and noted that Thailand and Europe share aligned directions on clean energy and green economy, positioning Thailand as a regional investment hub particularly in high-value food and agriculture, electric vehicles, and clean energy sectors, with Thailand's hosting of the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings 2026 offering an important opportunity to showcase Thailand's potential on the global economic stage.
