On June 30, 2025, General Uekrit Boontan, Thailand's Supreme Commander, presided over a forum on "Digital Readiness for One Team RTARF" at Thai Armed Forces Headquarters. Following the opening ceremony, the commander toured a technology and innovation exhibition featuring advancements designed to improve soldiers' quality of life and support military operations.
Key innovations on display included RoboCT and MileBot for soldier rehabilitation and wellness, the UNITREE G1 humanoid robot powered by artificial intelligence, and drone wireless charging technology for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The exhibition also showcased the Smart Station communication system developed by the Military Telecommunications Center, the MTC WATCHDOG frequency threat detection system, Hybrid Satellite communications for remote areas, Thap Thai Talk (TTT) for secure internal military communications, and the U-POS unified planning and operation system that integrates data from multiple sources to support command decisions.
Additionally, the Military Information Technology Center presented AI systems for data analysis and decision support, alongside the RTARF AI Innovator 2026 program to develop Thailand's digital workforce. Dell Technologies displayed rugged devices designed for challenging military environments, alongside infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions powered by AI.
The forum featured panel discussions and keynote speeches from high-ranking officials and technology leaders, exploring digital readiness from three perspectives: strategic and security considerations, technology-driven organizational advancement, and future technological trends and mission adaptation.
