Dr. Siriporn Petchyuay, a beloved dentist at Khao Chai Hospital in Ko Lanta known as "Dr. Boat," has died suddenly, leaving the local medical community mourning the loss of a respected healthcare professional.
The Ko Lanta medical community is mourning the sudden death of Dr. Siriporn Petchyuay, a dentist at Khao Chai Hospital, affectionately known as 'Dr. Boat.' Khao Chai Hospital issued a statement expressing profound respect and condolences to the deceased and her family, stating that all hospital administrators and staff share in the deep sorrow of her passing.
The Faculty of Dentistry at Srinakharinwirot University also released a condolence message, noting that Dr. Petchyuay was an alumna from Class 13 (ID 058). The faculty's leadership, instructors, students, and alumni expressed heartfelt sympathy to her family.
On social media, colleague Pathumma Korkrot posted a tribute, recalling that she had seen Dr. Boat smiling just hours earlier in the morning, only to receive the tragic news by afternoon. She described the loss as an irreplaceable tragedy that no one wanted to happen, expressing deep sadness over losing such a valued healthcare professional from Khao Chai Hospital.
