AC Milan Signs Gonçalo Ramos for Club Record Fee
AC Milan signed Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos from PSG for a club-record €74 million plus performance bonuses potentially reaching €90 million, surpassing Rafael Leão's previous transfer record.
AC Milan has confirmed the signing of Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain. Although Milan has not revealed specific agreement details, media reports state that the Rossoneri will pay PSG €74 million plus additional performance-related add-ons that could bring the total fee to €90 million, making it the club's most expensive acquisition ever.
Rafael Leão previously held Milan's transfer record after joining from Lille for €49.5 million in 2019. For PSG, this represents only the second-highest outgoing transfer fee, behind Neymar's €90 million sale to Al-Hilal in 2023.
Ramos joined PSG from Portuguese club Benfica in 2023. Though often used as a substitute, the 24-year-old has made 131 appearances across all competitions, scoring 45 goals for the French club.
